Default The Ultimate Experience

Alright Tailgate Experts, I have a challenge for you. I've read the post and seen the picts. and I must say, Broncos fans know how to party. So much in fact, I'm writing a paper on you guys. Challenge is, I live in MO. and can't afford to get up and experience the madness first hand. I would really appreciate any insight into the world of Broncos tailgating/football. If I can get some first hand knowledge from you guys, I know I can write a great paper.

What do you cook/eat at the tailgate? Not only what do you cook/eat, but what brand and where can you get it at?

I'm assuming everyone cooks with a coal grill, so what kind is the best to get?

I will be purchasing my Broncos jersey soon to get in the mood, but what else do you wear? Where can you get them?

What is the most popular type of football apparel?

What is the best football video game and who makes it? What system is it played on?

How do you guys keep up with your football and Broncos info? What TV, radio, internet sites do you guys use?

Is there one thing you have to have for a game, both home and away?

When there is an away game, what do you guys do for it? Watch at home, friends house, bar, etc?

What is it about tailgating that makes it such a special event?

What is it about football that makes Bronco fans so passionate?

Can you guys take me through a normal day for a home game and away game? I'm really trying to get to know your experiences and how you guys feel!

I know there is a ton of questions, but I bet you guys would really enjoy reading it after I get done. Heck, it may even get published up there in one of the papers. If there is anything else that may help me, feel free. Thanks again!

You might want to check out the website for the bus - http://www.orangeforceone.com to get some more ideas from what we do & what we're planning...

A normal day for a home game --

Wake up around 7am, go through all the daily morning routine, put on the Broncos outfit (or just show up in my pajamas when I'm too tired to get dressed then) and head over to the office to get on OF1 by 8 am. Stop at the gas station to pick up some caffiene, then head to the stadium. Pull into the lot & get the bus set up...That means, pop up the sattelite (direcway...see more info at datastorm.com ), prop the windows up, get the music cranking, get the tvs going, get the computer up and running...Log into the mane to let the people know we've arrived...

We then get the grill going, get the tables set up, get the MVT theme gear going...Stop in to a few other tailgates inlcuding my SO's family's (who tailgate with the "superfans" the Barrelman & Hatman...), watch the players lot fill up, watch the stampede perform...Talk to people, show people around the bus, make sure things run smoothly.

Then gametime rolls around & we head into the stadium to our seats...Do the typical game stuff...

After the game, it's back to the bus for a bit more partying/food/etc. We let the traffic die down a tad & the grills cool down & pack up the bus, then head home...
