Default Why can't game devs learn?

Why why why why? You would think that they would understand what makes a great game. Here is a good idea, go back and look at what made Halo the best Xbox game ever. 4 PLAYER SPLIT SCREEN MULTI AND LAN! I am sick of games being amazing, getting friends ready to have a LAN party, then find out that the game is only 1 person per T.V. Who has room for 8 T.V.'s, 8 xbox's, and 8 games? I love Star Wars Battlefront, but now I may not even get it because of that crap.

For the most part I agree with you. Why some of these games don't have split screen multiplayer is beyond me. There's a reason why Goldeneye was one of the greatest games ever. (at the time at least)

It was the Halo of its day. I remember in High School having Golden-eye marathons.

I personally think the games should have an option for both... My buddies and I have been talking about having multi-TV xbox parties in my garage... Just for a change-up to our poker nights. We all have a spare TV that we could use... I think it would pretty much rock.

TJ, its a blast bro. Use to have LAN parties at my house 2-3 times a month. Problem is there is nothing to play. Halo is only game that is 4 player per T.V. If you are lucky and have room/friends that can bring over a T.V. / Xbox then it works out great. I am not picky, I understand that some games have to much going on and 4 split wouldn't work BUT give me at least 2 player split!

A LAN party using Splinter Cell: Pandora tomorrow would rock.
