That's gotta be interference on A-Rod.

It was totally obvious. What the hell was the first base umpire looking at anyway?

Here's comes Torre, but it was plainly the right call.

Now the Yankee fans are going to start acting like animals.

Great job by these umps tonight getting together and getting the calls right. No question that Pay-Rod swatted that ball out of Arroyo's hand.

Yanks fans having a tantrum now.

Reminds me of Reggie Jackson sticking his fat ass in the way of Dodger shortstop Bill Russell's throw in the 1978 World Series. The umps choked that one big time, though.

I haven't seen anyone pull a stunt like that since Vince Coleman actually reached into a 1st baseman's glove, took the ball out and tossed it away after a pick off attempt in Montreal many years ago.

Coleman was correctly called out, as was Rodriguez.

Kind of like Kent Hrbek yanking Ron Gant off of first base in the '91 World Series. Umps completely botched that one too.

And the Sox get out of it. 4-2 going to the 9th.

The Cubs had this guy named Jose Cardenal who was a real character. Once there was a brushback pitch that triggered a melee while Cardenal was the runner on first base. When order was restored, he calmly went back out and stood on second base. Got away with it, too.

Who was it Kent Hrbek lifted off first base on a pickoff throw in the 91 Series?

Umps have nutted up and made the right calls tonight. I hate the friggin' Yankees, actually trying to act innocent like it was a legit play. FU A-Rod and FU Jeter.

I thought for sure the curse was rearing it's ugly head, but maybe it'll have to wait until game 7. Go Sox.

Ron Gant.

Looked like a friggin' wrestling match at first base and the umps still didn't get the call right.

I find it funny that Yankee fans start acting like morons and littering the field when the bad calls don't go their way.

Lord knows they've had the benefit of many in the past.
