Hey guys - before I ask the question, I wanted to get a cheap plug in. Our site (Pigskinsanity) is providing the Best of the West sites with divisional focused fantasy articles each week. (main page of the Orange Mane) I hope you guys are reading them and more importantly getting something valuable from them. If you have suggestions for improving the material - please let me know. Thanks.
Ok - now the questions. I have two leagues with two very different RB issues. League 1 - S Davis is out for me, but I have Foster. This leaves me with the options of starting two of the following: Faulk @ Falcons; Foster @ Chiefs; Henry @Raiders I'm starting Faulk, and l am torn b/t Foster and Henry. League 2 - No injuries, just a question about my #2. McAllister is my #1 starter. I have to choose among the following: Taylor vs Broncos; O Smith @ Philly; T Johnes vs Packers I am hesitant to start Taylor - he's no Priest, but not sure that I like the other 2 much better this week. Thoughts?? Thanks again, |

Leauge 1: Without question, go with Foster. That would be the best bet. Henry is WAY to inconsistent at this stage in his Buffalo career. Buffalo is looking for ways to get McGahee the ball.
Foster is going against KC, Nuff said. League 2: I'd go with O Smith. Not only will he be able to run for nearly triple digits against the Egirls, he has the ability to take a 5 yard swing pass and turn it into a 75 yard TD. Taylor has that ability also but I dont see the Jags running up a ton of points. The Philly/Minny game has all the makings of a knock down, dragout, free for all on offense. |

I'm not for sure but I think O.Smith is injured. Don't know how serious it is but I'd look into it and make sure he's a full go. I know for sure Moe Williams is injured so if Onterrio is okay he's your man. If he happens to be injured and you're worried go with Taylor. Stephen Davis and Deshaun Foster didn't have much success vs the Packers and I doubt Jones will either!
Your best bet is Smith. I think Taylor can get some yards on the Broncos but there is a good chance that we get up on them and force them to throw. Then again, we're playing in Florida and Jack is going to try to wear us down so that they can run in the 4th. Tough decision! As for the first league. NO BRAINER!!! Foster should be good for 130 and a score or two! |

Smith isnt hurt or at least not listed as hurt anymore I have him on one league. One I actually do well in even that is strange. He dose have 4 game suspention comeing up for some legal trouble in off season but dose not kick in yet but just heads up on that at some point he is out for 4 games. I would go with him and as for Taylor I personally am picking bronco game to be one of lowest scoreing affairs this week it is going to be a def slug fest and I would not play offense players in it on both sides. now unfortanate for me guess who is the homer who cant help himself from loading his team with broncos?,,,,, come on guess first 2 guesses dont count. From what I have seen so far Philly is a very good person to listen to. and Foster sounds good to me too. I dont look at eagles to be all that bad but I dont see them stoping him that much. Henry CAN do great things but like she said not consistanly. if it was keeper league I would pick him up but not use him untill he showed I could trust him through thick and thin while you have the others to go to. I mention keeper league becouse I dont think it will happen untill next year or so. |
