What Mountainman, and yourself, are espousing is typical uninformed liberal hatred of anything that is Christian in nature, or American. Your final "P.S" is a perfect example of what I despise of you and your kind. Whether you know it or not you are a "fifth column" movement, designed to turn America into a socialist state. Well, over my dead body.

This election is showing the true colors of supposed "Americans". You want to turn America into "Amerika". Well there are more of us than there are of you. God is on our side, America's side and we shall prevail. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GEORGE W. BUSH!!

I'm not a liberal, you flaming idiot. I'm an anti fascist libertarian. I stand against people like you for the constitution of the United States of America. You're just like the people who supported Adolf Hitler.

oh, and PS.... BUSH IS EVIL
Mountainmen made the comment first about Bush being Hitler. And Patriot responded by saying how Bush wasn't Hitler.

So get your facts straight before you jump all over the argument.

If your going to call somebody an a-hole I would suggest removing that label from yourself first.

Are you freaking kidding me? You honestly think Bush engineered 9/11?

What a freaking joke. Welcome to my ignore list after that comment.

LABF and I disagree about a lot of things but at least he keeps most of his ideas to a reasonable level. You on the other hard are so off the charts of idiocy it's unbelievable.

If you're talking about being a conservative, I'd say the majority of the country is conservative to moderate......the problem is that most moderate conservatives do not vote.
Voter turnout for the country usually hovers around 50%.......and a lot of the liberals vote multiple times, are dead, drug addicts/homeless people who are promised a meal/fix/place to sleep if they vote democrat, and many other creative ways to boost their "turnout".This Includes things like union members being dragged to the polls while thugs force them to vote democrat.

So your view that the country is split 50-50, is a little skewed to say the least....just a case of the minority being so much more fanatic in their base that they have made themselves heard, and repeated themes like "Republicans only represent the wealthy white man", "Republicans want to enslave you.....take away your social security", etcetera. Sad thing is that so many "democrats" are democrats because they don't educate themselves about where their party is headed....Socialism, and just buy these "themes" as fact......most don't even know why they are democrats....other than what they've been brainwashed to believe.....moo.

someone actually thinks Bush engineered 9/11?

time to pigeonhole him with Cynthia McKinney - whacko nutcase.

you're right, time for the ignore list.

The trouble with conspiracies is that there's always some disgruntled member of the conspiracy to come out to expose it, where are the whistleblowers who are out there saying Bush engineered 9/11? There'd have to be someone in a supposed conspiracy this huge.

The world is full of whackos, and unfortunately they vote.

The best argument against a democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter.

Elway, Bush trade football compliments
By Steven K. Paulson, The Associated Press
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — John Elway's appearance at a campaign rally for President Bush Tuesday wasn't his first venture into the political spotlight, but it may have been his most prominent.

President George Bush talks with former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway during a campaign rally in Greenwood Village, Colo.
Ed Andrieski, AP

Elway, the former Denver Broncos quarterback revered in Colorado for Super Bowl victories in 1998 and 1999, praised Bush in football terms.

"This man knows how to make the right calls when the pressure is on," Elway said.

Bush returned the favor. "I'm proud to be introduced by the man who led 'The Drive,'" he said.

That was a reference to the Broncos' fabled 98-yard touchdown drive in the closing minutes of the 1986 AFC title game against Cleveland. The Broncos won in overtime, 23-20.

Elway has long been a popular figure in Colorado. A 1999 poll ranked him ahead of Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell, Gov. Bill Owens and then-President Clinton in generating "very positive" feelings. The survey fueled speculation that Elway might run for political office, but so far, he has not.

He sometimes mingles with Colorado's Republican leadership. He attended Owens' 1999 black-tie inaugural ball along with then-Republican Party national chairman Jim Nicholson and brewer Peter Coors, now the GOP candidate for U.S. Senate.

In May 2001, Elway helped Colorado leaders try to lure Boeing Corp. to move its headquarters to Denver, meeting with executives of the aerospace company when they visited the Governor's Mansion. The company eventually relocated to Chicago instead.

He skipped an invitation to the White House after the 1998 Super Bowl victory but denied it was because Clinton, a Democrat, was president. Elway had his knee checked by doctors that day and then played a round of golf.

Now, Elway is most often in the public eye in television commercials for the auto dealerships that bear his name. He returned to the sports spotlight last month when he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

He is a co-owner of the Colorado Crush of the Arena Football League.

Pointing out that, since you have so little ammo in your debate bag, you've resorted to endless comparisons to Hitler isn't boo-hooing, Ro. It's pointing out that desperate people do desperate things.

Now why don't you do another Holocaust analogy? Because it's just the kind of high-brow stuff that makes the left so credible these days.

Maybe it would help if you knew the definition Rohirrim.....from Merriam-Webster online....

Main Entry: fas·cism
Pronunciation: 'fa-"shi-z&m also 'fa-"si-
Function: noun
Etymology: Italian fascismo, from fascio bundle, fasces, group, from Latin fascis bundle & fasces fasces
1 often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

Now you tell me how that post is Fascist.

This actually sounds more like the modern Democratic Party....

The meaning of political labels also has a political context. If you don't think Patriot speaks the language of the Brown Shirts, say - pre-Munich beer hall putsch - go read a book. Come back when you get an education. Ooops. West Texas. Ain't gonna happen.

Meeting the president
Broncos Tom Nalen, Daniel Neil, Danny Kanell and Lynch participated in a rally for President Bush on Tuesday.

Lynch said the team asked the players if they would participate.

"It was a great thrill," Lynch said. "My family got our picture taken with him. We had a nice chat."

What was that again......you said something previously about painting a sector of society with a broad brush?

People like you have been conditioned to label anything conservative as "fascist" when there could be nothing further from the truth.

You may consider yourself "educated" but I think conditioned or brainwashed is probably more apropos......

Calling somebody a commie or unpatriotic if they don't support Bush. That sounds like Nazi Germany to me.

No kidding.

My money says this guy keeps plenty of full-length posters of Uncle Adolph around the house--along with an economy-size bottle of Jergens and a big box of Kleenex.

Truly a Bush Davidian.
