Default Tenn-FU gamethread

Son of a b... Florida has capitalized on Tennes youth and scored a TD already.

Why is it that no team can beat Tennessee at Neyland except for Florida?

I'm blowing chunks at FF, picks, everything.

After watching some of the fresh backs today, it's no wonder Shanahan thinks he can pick a plum.

James Labron? Caddilac? Gore is back... There were a bunch of fast, goodsized backs today. I can't remember that many names. Gore is quite a story.

Mock, don't forget Adrian Peterson. Isn't he the same height as Q?

Jeez, that 81 yard TD went right off the safetys hands right into the WR's breadbasket. I'm having a nightmare pickem day.

Oh boy, the kicker redeemed himself, but the refs caused the Gators to lose on a bad personal foul call.

Amazing...I was listening to it on the car radio. I'm glad the Tennessee kicker got his redemption.

What a great game. The dislplay of emotion at the end of Florida/Tennessee is why college football is such an amazing spectacle and also my favorite sport. I just wish the NCAA wasn't so conservative in letting the kids show some emotion without getting penalized. I swear that it's a penalty for even thinking about celebrating a touchdown, let alone doing it. The refs are always chasing down the players in the end zone trying to get them out of there and back to the sideline. It's a joke.

Anyway, Tennessee sure did get a lot of help from the refs tonight. And I hate the Florida Gators almost as much as Al-Qaeda, so I'm certainly not complaining. The last personal foul should have been offsetting since the ref clearly saw both punches. It was almost like that ref was waiting for the Florida player to respond, if he didn't then the ref wouldn't have thrown any flag.

I'm not sure on the exact numbers, but I think Flordia had like 9 penalties to Tennesee's 1. Fulmer sure had some home cooking tonight. I loved how Fulmer, his policeman, and his daughter were running on the field after the winning field goal and one of his own players had to push them back towards the sideline since the game wasn't over yet.

Chris Leak looks like a future Heisman Trophy QB and the true frosh Ainge also looks like a damn good QB for the Vols. Schaeffer should be used a lot less, maybe one or two series each half.

Damn. Sounds like I ended up missing a good game. I started watching Taps on one of the HD stations and couldn't stop watching it. Gee whiz. Damn you George C. Scott, Timothy Hutton, and Tom Cruise for sucking me into the world of Bunker Hill academy!

Someone put demeral in the water fountain @ Arizona State. I know Iowa has historically sucked against PAC 10 teams dating back to Ronnie Harmon's fumblethon, but this is really embarassing.
