Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Six in a row, I can't fuggin believe it!
Out of the 4 main units between the two teams, Miami's defense deserved the win the most. They held an FSU offense with playmakers like Booker, Washington, and Thorpe to absolutely nothing. Herbstreit picked Rix as the Heisman winner, what a joke he looks like now. Even if you dislike Miami, and I know there are a lot of people out there that do, at least be happy for Frank Gore, who has torn his acl in each of the last two seasons - the last one coming 11 months ago - and scoring the winning touchdown and playing pretty well in his first game back. Chirs Rix becomes the first QB in college football history to ever lose 5 times to the same team. I can't believe I passed up tickets to this game at the last minute because of a stupid prior commintment. It was another classic at the Orange Bowl. Now I just hope Denver can pull off another big W against Kansas City. Oh, and we don't get hit by Ivan. |

One more thing, Antrel Rolle was just awesome tonight. I can't imagine what this defense would look like with Sean Taylor and Vince Wilfork back, which they could have been - though it would have been stupid to pass up the money they got in the NFL.

i couldnt believe it when Kirk stated this as well. Kirk kept saying how Rix was a different Qb now and wouldnt make the same mistakes he has the past 4 years. its pretty laughable that anyone would make a statement like that. |

F$Who?
**** yeah. you can see why even this homer picked FSU and the +2. Their defense is back to prior-2001 levels and our offense sans Gore and Sinorice was god awful. Damn that Hurricane defense looks so dominant doesnt it. Young LBs didnt make mistakes, the secondary totally shut everything down, Rolle was a total monster and you can see that Greg Threat is an emerging star at safety. And that defensive line, as predicted, is the best in college football. The interior of the OLine is still average, but to be fair they took a natural RG in Myers and put him at tackle cause of injuries. Berlin was garbage. I naively bought into the crap that he improved this summer. I was happy to see Gore well on his way to overcoming the two ACL's. He did well when they gave him some room to work. Ryan Moore is a BUST. What, 3 or 4 drops. You were the top ranked WR in high school son, play like it. He is playing his way out of the lineup. Sinorice finally showed us something nice. Go Canes....what a game. Hats off to FSU as well. Thank god for Prix.

I bet you Miami fans are happy that this OT game ended a lot better than the last OT game you were in.
In all honestly, both teams deserve a loss for this game, I feel bad for the choke job that FSU pulled out, but the real tragedy is that one of the teams got a win for this game. |

I'm happy for all you U fans. Good to see a person bask in a rivalry game win. I love the feeling myself. Now say some prayers for my Wildcats today

the only bad thing i feel about FSU is that Bowden lost some relatives from the Hurricane and it looked like he might get a win in response to that. i guess he should have never left Rix in charge of that job. ![]() |

And I waited 5 seconds after the Gore touchdown to make sure that Terry Porter and his tardy flag wasn't there to rip my heart out again. |

Going into the 4th quarter and the way FSU offense was playing you had a feeling Miami was coming back and winning this thing.
Who knows why Bowden has stuck with Rix this long! |

But He came back in the game, and continued to suck and FSU eventually lost because of him and his ability to just choke the game away. How hard is it to catch a snap that hits you in the leg? |

Socal has to be letting out a huge sigh of relief. Good job Miami for continuing to fight.
