Need some opinions on a possible trade I'm working out. I would be trading Culpepper for Priest and Pennington. I currently have PLummer as my back-up and either him or Pennington are a good starting QB and the only RB I have that is any good is Griffin. My WR corps is stacked as well. Thoughts

So you'd get Priest and Pennington and only give up Dante?
That's a no-brainer, take the trade |

I agree with Herc. Trading Culpepper for Holmes straight-up would be in your favor. The fact that you get Pennington should make jump at the chance. Plummer should provide you some good insurance.

Thanks for the feedback guys, the guy is going to take a bit to crack considering his only other RB is Eddie George, I might only end up trading Daunte for Priest, good thing the guy rides Daunte's jockstrap. The only thing is I would hate having to somewhat cheer on Holmes
But the pot is about 5 bills so sacrifices need to be made sometimes. |

What blubbering assmunch would trade Holmes for Culpepper straight up let alone Pennington on top of it?
Why can't I get owners in the leagues I'm in that stupid? Pennington has the potential to be a top 5 FF QB. Dude, I hopw you made that deal by now! |

There is nothing wrong for cheering for Holmes. Especially when you consider that he has had games where he has run for 200+ with 3 TD's and the Chorfs still lost. It's great that their D sucks as badly as they do. |

My next question was, who are his other RB's but you just answered that. If he had a ton of good RB's I could almost understand. For example,
I have been offering both Manning and Randy Moss in a package in another league and have asked for a stud RB in return. I have Matt Hasslebeck so I feel that Manning is tradable. I offered a guy: Peyton manning Curtis Martin or Charlie Garner Randy Moss for LT McCariens Chester Taylor He turned it down. I think he was nuts but what can I do. I thought I way overpaid but some guys are just clueless. That deal would have helped him big time. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what people are thinking. |

That sounded like a great deal to me, he was stupid to turn it down. I'm very confident that I will get good numbers out of Plummer this year, I've been hearing a lot of talk that Culpepper will be more of a pocket passer this year and I know Jake is good for at least 2 or 3 rushing touchdowns. Even if I can get a top 5 runningback for Daunte I'll be happy.

Not only did the guy turn it down, he said "fat chance, stop trying to rape me". Unbeleivable. Why was a raping him, cause I asked for LT? You could have the greatest FF RB of all time and you won't win if you surround him with ****. People dont understand that you can't look at your best play as "untradeable". No one is untouchable IMO. You just have to give up more for the top guys. I'd say Manning, Moss and Martin/Garner is more then enough for LT. Dude, jump on that deal ASAP. IMO, you wont need Jake other then on a bye week or injury because I think Pennington is gonna be a FF stud. |

Heck yeah take the trade. And I would start Pennington over Plummer. This would solidify your RB core while still leaving your QB's strong. |

I'd try to get a decent QB out of the guy offering the 2nd deal. If he gives up a QB, I'd do #2.
Number 1 is a good deal for you if you take Smith. But, if you can get a QB out of the 2nd deal, that's the one I'd go for. Unless, you can pick up a Tim Rattay, or JoshMcCown. Those 2 guys will be airing it out all season long. I'm not a big McNair supporter. I think he is way too injury prone. |
