I guess What the Soldiers had to say wasnt to popular , I read through the site, I thought it was a simple donate food , Clothing , or just write a letter , I had no Idea it was that deep ... So much for supporting the Troops .....10 hits and not one answer , I guess we should only support them when they agree with what we say here at home .........

I looked at this site last week when Randi mentioned it on AA.

I read a lot of the comments on the message board.

Seems like a lot of guys don't like Der ChimpenFuhrer and realize they are just being used as personal security for Halliburton.

I dont click outside links spider. Perhaps if you copied the article here for me

However, I take it you found a bit of info about some troops who disagree with Bush. Free country and all. They have a right to do so provided they continue to follow his orders.

And to say that people do not support the troops because no one has replied is grossly inaccurate and unfair Spider.

Yep, that's the whole point.

It's a chance to hear the truth about the war in Iraq from people who are actually there fighting it--not talking heads like Chris Matthews.

Here Alec this is just but a small taste of what the Troops are saying Bro ......

Is The Military Stretched Thin?
Absolutely. Numerous senators and members of both parties have alluded to the strain of the military by operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. “Frankly, they need more help,” said Senator Jack Reed, Democrat of Rhode Island. “This operational tempo is putting great stress and duress on the soldiers.” John McCain of Arizona firmly agreed, saying “I hope the Pentagon and the civilian leadership there will come to their senses and recognize that there are not enough men and women in the military today.”

In addition to this strain, the current deployment of troops has reached unprecedented heights within the last few decades. Currently over 40% of the troops being rotated into Iraq are National Guard members and reservists. This statistic was confirmed by Congressman Rangel, who claimed that “We haven’t called up this level of reservists since the Korean War.”

A number of additional factors hint to a stretched thin army. These include:

- 1/3 of US troops in Korea are being pulled out in order to supplement US troop strength in Iraq.

- Forces from the National Training Center (link) are being sent to Iraq. The decision to send key trainers into combat debilitates the long-term strength of the army.

- New recruits are being outsourced from the Army’s Delayed Entry program. Enlistees are usually called into the military months after they sign up. The army’s frequent use of the program to get immediate recruits has significantly slimmed down the size of the program.

The military isn't a democracy. They are trained to do the job they are commanded to accomplish, no matter what they think about it. After it's finished, THEN they can come home and speak about their experiences (a la John Kerry).

Sounds like a reporter not soldiers.

But whatever, you cant expect everyone to agree with Bush and indeed that would worry me considerably fearing brainwashing.

This isn't true. They pulled a third of the troops in Korea off the DMZ, but many simply relocated in the various bases on the penisula and Japan.

This is mostly due to pressures from the Korean government and because deployment into the North is faster with the troops closser to the bases.

I guess you would know more then they do ........ but here is my point , these guys want to get thier word out , without an O'Rilley or a Mathews Spin ,Without some paid milatary mouthpiece to put things is a positive light ..Are the Soldiers going to be 100% correct ? no of course not , all they are doing is reporting what they see ......no partisan spin alot of people wont be ble to handle that , they need the spin to feel secure in what they know , but for me I will take a soldiers word about the action over a Michael Moore , or an Ann coulter .......
