Hmmm.... one of the guys in my money FF league just drop Jake for Tyrone Calico(we only get 4 bench spots).
So now the ? should I drop Carr vs. San Diego and pick up Jake to go against KC? Since most of these guys are Bengals/Browns/Steelers fans I come here for straight opinions. |

Wow ... I wouldn't be 100% happy with starting either.

I'm a bit biased because I am a big fan of Carr and will be starting him week one, but expect to see big things from him this year. He really stepped up last year and now has all the tools to be a great fantasy QB.
JMO, but I think Jake will be a great wins/losses guy but not a big stats guy with the Broncos. |

I think the Broncos will roll up some yardage and points against the Chiefs, but if you look at the trends, the Chiefs have had their biggest problems in stopping the run, rather than the pass.
This is not because the Chiefs are a great pass-defense team. They aren't. It's just that when you can run a team ragged like that, why bother to pass anyway? I think Carr is going to have a pretty good year. He has excellent WRs, a star in the making at RB, and an offensive line that looks a little like Denver's. If the Texans look bad somewhere, it's on defense, and that means that Carr may have to throw the ball more than Plummer, so it figures that he should get more FF points. |
