$120 to the points leader and $120 to the overall champ. I think I hae a shot at both.
12 teams, 13 rounds, pick #3 1) Ahman Green 2) Terrell Owens 3) Chad Johnson 4) Trent Green 5) Quentin Griffin 6) Brandon Lloyd 7) Tyrone Wheatley 8) Lee Suggs 9) Donald Driver 10) Ryan Longwell 11) David Carr 12) Ten Def 13) Marcus Pollard Any thoughts? |

Not a bad team...I have my money league draft tomorrow...its a 10 teamer, and I pick 3rd...basically if I leave the confrence room tomorrow with your team, I'd be more than happy...Although the Q pick I might pass on...coming up on TO in the 2nd is what I'm hoping for...Donald Driver is a sleeper...most people have Javon Walker and Ferguson in front of him but, Driver had a poor, injury ridden season last year...Good pick on that...Suggs, and Wheatley...potential trade bait...Suggs actually might end up as your # 2....Brandon Lloyd is a gread pick too...****...12 teams, mine is 10 and I think I'm set...

Looks pretty strong at RB. 3rd WR needs help. But what can you expect in 12 team league. I like the Lloyd pick. He should have a productive season provided Rattay is healthy. Nice Job. |

I think Driver will beat out Ferguson for the #2 spot. Him and Farve had some great chemistry before he got hurt, I think he was like a top 15 receiver pick last year. |

I'm happy with my WR's though. I have two top notch guys. Its hard to get a 3rd stud with a 12 team league as donkeyshow mentioned. I also really like my trent green pick up.

Yeah, I'm sure with Q you really didnt have too many other options...I'm just not sold on Q...but, like you said Tyrone or Lee will help out, if Q were happen to be a bust, if he does pan out they your riding high....You have depth at RB...you'll be fine...Your 100% right on Driver...shhhhhhhhhh ![]() |

I think you have a shot. I've never been in a twelve team league (always ten), but it seems like you did alright for that many teams.

Well I have the 3rd and the 18th picks...3rd will probably Ahman, and I'm hoping to pick up TO at 18...I doubt he lasts but, if he does it'll take 2 seconds for me to put TO in the draft box... |

Don't forget about Marvin though. In my draft Moss, then Marvin, then Holt went first. Then I took TO, and the next guy got Hines Ward.

I should mention that this league gives 1 point / 15 yards, and 0.5 points per reception. So guys like Ahman, and possible Q are good receivers. LT had a monster year last year in our league thanks to the 100 catches.

I had a choice between Green, Farve, Pennington. They all went in short order. |

I'd bet money Owens will disappoint you this year. He won't match his SF numbers with McNabb throwing him the ball. I like Johnson and draft him when I can. Barring injury Johnson will outscore Owens as a fantasy player this year - write it down and then check back after the season. |

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but can you guys tell me how my team is looking or what area I need to work on?
QB's--Matt Hasselbeck, Carson Palmer RB's--Ahman Green, Stephen Davis, Michael Bennet, and Brian Westbrook WR's--Torry Holt, Chris Chambers, Javon Walker, Darrell Jackson TE's--Todd Heap, Randy McMichael K--Olindo Mare and someone else D--Denver and Jacksonville By the way, Kappys, your team is looking good. |

4) Trent Green
11) David Carr I'm not sold on Carr as a backup, but Green is a nice option. 1) Ahman Green 5) Quentin Griffin 7) Tyrone Wheatley 8) Lee Suggs Green is power - and you have 3 nice hopefuls. I think Suggs will surprise many this season and do very well. If he and Griffin step up, you are golden! 2) Terrell Owens 3) Chad Johnson 6) Brandon Lloyd 9) Donald Driver Top two picks are extremely nice. Lloyd is a top sleeper option (much like Suggs) and Driver should be consistent. 13) Marcus Pollard Nice veteran, but he will lose time and scoring options to Dallas Clark. 10) Ryan Longwell Solid. 12) Ten Def Solid. ----- Very nice team - no glaring weak spots other than your depth at RB. I'm not sold on Wheatley being a 20 carry / 17 game RB. Griffin and Suggs are not proven, but appear to be the lead horses for their teams and if they do well, you are set. |

Big Country,
QB's--Matt Hasselbeck, Carson Palmer As mentioned earlier, Matt will have a super 2004 and if Carson is the guy they hope he is, you are set here. RB's--Ahman Green, Stephen Davis, Michael Bennet, and Brian Westbrook Strong! I would still find a way to get Deshaun Foster, just for insurance. Bennett is out for a few weeks and Westbrook should do well. WR's--Torry Holt, Chris Chambers, Javon Walker, Darrell Jackson This is a very TIGHT group. You have 4 WRs with the ability to snag 10 TDs and I like the Hasselbeck/Jackson combo. TE's--Todd Heap, Randy McMichael Again, very strong. K--Olindo Mare and someone else D--Denver and Jacksonville K's and Def's are a crapshoot to me. You have your top 10 kickers that will all rock, and you have one. Defenses are such a question mark from year to year. --- Nice team. |

O.K. guys rate my first ever fantasy draft. The scoring im my league favors big plays.
R.B. Fred Taylor Kevan Barlow Duce Staley Mike Anderson Q.B. Chad Pennington Carson Palmer Jake Plummer W.R. Randy Moss Porter Rod Gardner Terry Glenn T.E. Randy McMichael Jeb Putzier K Jason Elam John Hall Broncos D Bills D I know I fell into the "Homer" role in my draft. |

Ahhh ... a newbie. Welcome to the insane world of fantasy football!
R.B. Fred Taylor Kevan Barlow Duce Staley Mike Anderson Not a bad group. Those first 3 are all top 20 RBs. Staley may finally be that stud RB in Pitt, but watch out for Bettis stealing short yardage TDs. Barlow has a ton of potential, but I'm weary of relying on him as a #2 this season. I could be wrong, but at least you have a strong #3. Anderson may be out for a month or more, so you don't want to hold on to him too long, if better depth is out there. Q.B. Chad Pennington Carson Palmer Jake Plummer Very Nice! Pennington should have a stellar year. Who knows how Palmer will do in his first true season, and the jury is still out on Plummer from a fantasy perspective this season. W.R. Randy Moss Porter Rod Gardner Terry Glenn Moss and Porter should be money in the bank for you. Nice production from these guys and Porter is finally one of the top 2 guys in Oakland. Gardner has been a tease so far in his career, maybe this is the season he does well. Glenn is often injured, so don't expect much. T.E. Randy McMichael Jeb Putzier Kinda unreliable - Miami is in disarray and Randy isn't the smartest guy on the block. Jeb is a potential diamond in the rough, so you may not get consistent production from this group. K Jason Elam John Hall Nice combo. Broncos D Bills D Decent upside with both. ----- I think your starters will be fine, but depth across the board is a concern. Just monitor those players and keep an eye on the waiver wire. |
