Well my fighting Illini just landed this stud DT from Maryland. He was part of the 06 class with Maryland, but had his scholly takin away. He got in trouble with some marijuana and apparently hung out with a very bad crowd in Baltimore (i.e. gang members). He was the #4 overall player in the class of 06, and will automatically be plugged in as a starter for my Illini. The talent is obviously there, but would you guys take a chance on a guy who has had character problems in the past? Im on the fence with this one, but i do beleive getting away from those types of people he was hanging around with will help. Here is his rivals profile from last year....
