Default Here We go with Mr. Idiot.

Under Clinton terrorism was priority #1.
Under Bush it was demoted to sub deputy level, where under Clinton it was CABINET LEVEL.

Clarke didn't have the authority he needed to get the attention of the President. Then he gets the August 6th PDB, that details "who" will do the Sept 11 attacks, "how" they will do them, and "where" they will do them. The only thing he was missing was the when.

Which is irrelevent because the "when" starts from the time you read the memo until the threat is vanquished. Bush did nothing, he was evidently to busy golfing and finding out new ways to run a surplus into a deficit just like he did in Texas. we will have to deal with that won't we.[/quote]

First off, Clarke is a stone faced liar. Bush did nothing? He wasn't "Golfing you dimwit, he was being taken on Air Force One. to a Bunker you dimwit.

Who thinks the war is unneccessary??

Well gee, more than half of the United States does, not only to include most of the greatest minds in the world. Maybe if Bush would take advice outside his circle he wouldnt make such stupid mistakes. Every think tank on foriegn policy said it was a bad war, and totally unjustified. Not only that, but it was provided the greatest recruiting tool we could have possibly handed Al Qaeda.
Look at the response. What is the response to Al queada?

As far as having enough boots on the ground in Afghanistan, YOU do not have a clue. As a United States Marine I can tell you that if he had put 45,000 of the most highly motivated and trained Marines in Afghanistan Osama Bin Laden would be dead.

But he was already secretly deep into planning the war in Iraq, and therefore couldn't allocate the troops to Iraq. To further destroy and annilate your udder ignorance on who thought the war in Iraq was unneccessary, all you have to do is look at the speaches given by both Condi Rice and Colin Powell before 9/11. If you knew about those you would see that they both said Saddam was no threat, had no WMD due to the crushing of his military in 91, and the UN imposed sanctions.

Bush promised no nation building, when his weak justifications for war were crushed he changed his tune and made it a war to free Iraqis and re-build the nation. The nuclear evidence was a joke and totally false, yet he presented it as fact. What a disgrace this president is.
