Here's a hint: Unless you can cite (as I've asked) specifically where I've said Fox News is "fair and balanced" you're making an assumption that that's my stance. Which I know is in error. Because I do not think such, nor have I ever said so.

And you're right, you have never actually linked moveon.org. I was in error.

It sure is nice to be able to admit when I've mis-spoke about another poster.

Some political ideologues just can't bring themselves to do that sort of thing, even in the face of the facts.

Know anybody like that, Miss "Deducer"?
My bad... it looks like you didn't state that in so many words. For the sake of accuracy, my post should have said "so says the man who takes issue with a post that notes the obvious bias of Fix News".

So... you're now telling me that you do not, in fact, consider Fix News "fair and balanced"... yet, when I posted that Fix News is biased, you respond with this?
"your hateful liberal side comes bursting out from the facade to make cracks like that... "

Not very consistent, Captain.

Blue? No response for this?

Just wanted to make sure you hadn't missed it.

You are complaining about 100 grand? You have to be kidding me, billionaire George Soros has funded the ENTIRE democratic 527 aparatus along with John Heinz-Kerry's wife. Soros' contribution to MOVEON.ORG is into the Millions alone.

Soros pledges $US15.5 million to oust BushBy Laura Blumenfeld, New York
November 12, 2003

Fearful of the future ... George Soros.

George Soros, one of the world's richest men has given away nearly $US5 billion ($7 billion) to promote democracy in the former Soviet bloc, Africa and Asia. Now he has a new project: beating President George Bush.

"It is the central focus of my life," he said. The 2004 presidential race is "a matter of life and death".

Mr Soros, who has financed efforts to promote open societies in more than 50 countries around the world, is bringing the fight home, he said.

He and a partner have committed up to $US5 million to Moveon.org, a liberal activist group, bringing to $US15.5 million the total of his personal contributions to oust Mr Bush.

......

Christine Iverson, spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee (RNC), said Mr Soros was an example of the small group of people with special interests who fund the Democratic Party.

"It's incredibly ironic that George Soros is trying to create a more open society by using an unregulated, under-the-radar-screen, shadowy, soft-money group to do it," she said. "George Soros has purchased the Democratic Party."

You are complaining about 100 grand? You have to be kidding me...

WTF?

Who said anything about this?

The issue here is this group of vile idiots who are maligning John Kerry's military service.

Even your own John McCain said they were "dishonest and dishonorable" and urged the WH to condemn their ads.

But continue if you must--you're ultimately just helping Kerry by repelling independents, moderates, and undecideds (particulary the veterans) and by making the GOP look desperate and sleazy.

How very nice of you to finally see the light, Flame. That wasn't so tough now, was it?

I think your knee-jerk assumptions are what led you down this path in the first place, and I see that you manage to do it again in this very post. I told you you expose a hateful liberal side when you bitterly described Fox News as "Fix News." I never said that Fox' newscasts are free from bias.

You assumed that.

Hmmm. That post wasn't there yesterday when I posted my reminder. I'd surmise a browser error, or someone with moderator priveleges trying to save face.

Since I'm not a big conspiracy theory fan, I'll stick with choice#1.

You show your ignorance and bias when you refer to these men as vile idiots. They are all well respected veterans and many are decorated and served much longer than Kerry. You may not like their message, but you only illustrate your stupidity but resorting to calling them names.

You might get people to see your point of view if you don't demonize the other side all of the time, otherwise you're just a hater.

Contrary to what you may believe, this is not the first... nor is it likely to be the last... time that I've admitted to being wrong. I'm opinionated; not omniscient or infallible.

As to assumptions, assigning hatefulness or bitterness to my nickname for Fox News is a pretty big one. I don't hate Fix; they're a source of amusement along with the surprisingly large number of people who actually do believe that they're fair and balanced.

No...posted Wednesday evening around 8pm, that post was, indeed there yesterday. It was the first post on a new page, however, so it would have been easy to miss the little blue "3" at the bottom of page two of the thread.

It does look hilarious right above your reminder post, though... rofl

You show your ignorance and bias when you refer to these men as vile idiots.

You show your greater ignorance and your moral bankruptcy with the above statement.

No one is discounting O'Neill's service--which is exactly the point. He has no right to discount Kerry's service (particualry as a paid political operative acting on purely political motives.)

I guess we shouldn't expect a chickenhawk like you to understand this notion.

What O'Neill and his group of paid attack dogs are doing is vile.

Even your own John McCain called their deeds "dishonest and dishonorable."

(Tell us now how McCain "hates America," monkey boy.)

That's precisely the point... by criticizing Kerry's medals, the swiftvets diminish their own medals as well as his... if (as they are suggesting) the military was handing out purple hearts like candy at a kiddie parade, then what makes their own purple hearts so special?
