Still have to get cold beer out of the house fridge down here for now but 1934 Serville Propane Fridge will be installed soon! DTL picked this vintage unit and made it right. Little clean up and some fresh new paint for her! He just got done with the customization of a couple of metal coleman coolers that double up as seats. Nice and firm foam on top. Good place to pop a squat and watch the smoke rise from the Q!
Oh and one more tailgate chair is done. Denver Tucson Link is the man. Period. Last edited by Meck77; 08-27-2004 at 10:40 PM.. |

Things are humming along but I have a request for the Omane.
Anyone have a recommendation to a good quality painter in Denver who wants to paint this baby straight orange above the stainless/aluminum? Being that the bus is not mobile with her guts hanging out we will have to have it painted in Denver right after the KC game. I want this thing ready for the next home game. The timing of this is crucial and I need to get on it now. I'm not looking for someone who thinks they can paint a bus. I'm looking for one of the best painters in Denver who know they can paint this bus up right! Any help would be appreciated. |

Dammit Meck. When you said you were gonna make the ultimate tailgate bus, I thought you were going to make something off the hook. This is more like "off the scale." |

Who the hell knows.
I would steel wool whatis allready painted. If you plan on painting steel you will have to rough and primer first. You have to rough up and primer. Painting on Stainless steel isn't easy. I would paint on whatever has allready been painted. |

If you want a recommendation Burt Toyota has a guy that is top notch double bullet.
He might be able to give you a lead. Dammit I can't remember his name. He's super nice guy too if he's alive. He has a super top notch body shop. It's about half a mile north of Burt Toyota on the west side. He is a super duper guy if your looking for someone. I just wish I could remember his name. He did all the work for Burt Toyota. Top notch. First Class work. I could refer you to Manuel, he paints with a spray can. |

He patched up a FourRunner I crashed, a Celica I crashed and even reset an odometer I unhooked.
He's the man. Mock was the demo delmolition man. Oh, I crashed an MR2 as well. That was just at Burt Toyota. We had lots of fun with a Mustang 5.0 in Dallas. That car was imfamous. Last edited by watermock; 08-29-2004 at 12:05 PM.. |
