Default How long have you been married?

DenFan's single thread got me curious as to how long OM members have been married. I saw some responses over there for the married column, but I know there's a lot more married people out there. So how long for the rest of you?

I've been married for 8 1/2 years, 3 kids. My theory there is take the 8 1/2 and multiply it by the 3 and the number you get there represents how long it FEELS like you've been married.

9 years - two kids - Dated my wife for two months before we got married - people said we were insane, but when you find your soulmate there is no reason to wait.

It'll be 13 in September, my man. Two kids here: a 2yr-old and a 5mth-old, one of each.

Single? Isn't that something cheese slices come in?

Couldn't agree with you more. My husband and I only dated for 2 months also. Don't you ever want to find all the people that said it wouldn't last and slap em?

We're doing just that - At 10 years we are renewing our vows and having the formal wedding we didn't do before. During the reception we're planning on dancing to the Gipsy Kings version of "My Way" as a subtle b*tch slap and told you so.

The best "I told you So" is waking up happy, don't you agree?

For our 10th Anniversary last year, we attended the Broncos Bengals opener. Got to meet a few of the guys, Rueban gave us his glove, Portis, Gold, Mobley, etc... all cool guys - wished us well and all that good stuff.

Someone mentioned it in another thread the first 3-5 years are the hardest. Once you make it past that it becomes awesome. Not that the first years are not.

I dated my wife on and off for a couple years. We would get togather and then have huge ugly break ups. When we told everyone we were getting married most laughed but once we did get hitched we have never had a problem. The nay sayers can kiss my a**

I've been married for almost 6 years. It's my second marriage though. Total time spent in the "institution" is close to 10.

I met my wife 6 years ago, we've been married a little over two. No kids (she's in PhD school.. no time )...

It should be pointed out that she married FAR beneath her station

Most of you guys are babies at the marriage game. Old Bilrob has been maried for 57 years and going strong. Bronco fan since moving to Colorado in "63". Two sons who run a Dude Ranch near Gunnison Colorado also Bronco Boosters. We now live in Hawaii and follow the Orange and Blue religiously. Can't wait for the season to begin.
