Re; jake - 478
tough question I don't think this is an "either or" type question. some kind of modernization should be looked at IMO. laws to create a viable multiple party system for USA president, yes or no? Last edited by baja; 07-07-2004 at 08:37 AM.. |

if you want to keep a car for more than three years, go used. let the initial depreciation happen (which is biggest in the first year or two), and pay the 1000 or 1500 to extend the warranty and it might as well be new. if you only want a car for two or three years, go new and look for a car with a high residual lease. that way you get a low payment and you just give the car back after the lease is up. im always more than happy to assist anyone here in buying a car. as for the electoral, this isnt the thread, but my quick point is just that i think that a popular vote gives MORE power to the small states. new york and california wouldnt decide the election, because even a LARGE margin of victory in those states is only a couple percentage points. what a popular vote does is make EVERY vote count, including those in states that otherwise would be obviously one way or the other. for instance, a republican vote in DC is absolutely irrelevant now, while in a popular vote election it is not. i think this would also double the voter turn out, and gove us a more accurate election. sorry to hijack temporarily. chips for sure. coke or pepsi? (forgive me if its been asked) |

i would know, since managing car dealers is what i do for a living. if i told you a NEW car had NO warranty, would you still buy it? how much ADDITIONAL discount would you want if i took away that nice 3/36 warranty the manufacturer provides? it covers EVRYTHING that goes wrong if its a FULL coverage warranty. quite simply, its an extension of the SAME warranty you get from the factory. if you paid for a warranty in the past that didnt cover much, then you got hosed, and for that im sorry. pm me next time you buy a car and ill make sure EVERY part of the deal is on the up and up. many additional products available on cars (paint pro., credit life, disability, etc.) are HUGE wastes of hard earned money, but warranty and gap ins. (in the event of a total loss) are not. they just need to be 100% coverage policies. im always more than happy to assist anyone from the mane in any way regarding vehicle purchases. best movie of the year so far? |
