I'm not involved... But I think you're allowed to say anything you want about him. I believe that was half the point of the bet...

This sounds like a cookie error to me, as I have never experienced this.

In general I have a terrible time locating unread posts. I've tried going to user CP and taping into my subscribed threads and still the bold-ed posts lose their bold distinction before they are read also when I try to go to the first unread post sometimes I go a page or two past the last unread post and sometimes I go to a page of already read posts. Very annoying on an other wise great board

I just noticed when I follow a link in a post when I return to the Mane the bold is gone.

baja, this is what I have gathered.

If you fail to read every unread thread in a session, and close the browser window then it assumes you read them all and marks them as all read. For some reason however, if your browser crashes, or you restart without closing, it doesn't save any of the cookies you need to mark the threads you have already read during that session which was interrupted.

I haven't verified this part so take it for what you will: If you leave the orangemane and go to another website, I believe it also marks all unread threads as read as well.

Yes I would expect that but it will at some point during the same session clear all the bold-ed threads from their bold type. I usally leave an IE window open with OM on it and work on another IE window for other stuff but thanks for the feed back Alec. :-)

Well, Taco said something about you have to start a session, but RR's board doesn't seem to have the same problem. I will go over to the rathole and see.

I'm going to be upgrading to the next version of the software as soon as I can find the spare time. We'll see if that resolves the issue.

I wish the following links were at the BOTTOM of each thread. Didn't they used to be?

The Orange Mane Denver Broncos Fan Discussion Forum > Orange Mane Discussion Forum > Orange Mane General Discussion
Site Feedback: What would you like to see more (and less) of?

Not a bad idea... The more navigation options, the better.

My feedback would be to lower the amount of rep you must spread around before giving it to someone else again.

There's a few posters on here that warrant reps a lot more than they get them because of that, and I would like to hand them out a lot more as well.

I got nothing, sorry. I pretty much won't shake the monkey tree. Oh wait, here we go, I think we shoud do away with neg rep. People use it simply when they disagree with your point of view rather than bad posts. I could do without rep completely. Thats it I think.

a limit on how much crap you can put in your sig line or whatever at the bottom of a post...

Some people go way to overboard, and it makes the pages feel bloated.

The rep thing is - i dunno - not my thing - rarley dole it out and i could give a crap if i get it

I like the nav drop down menu at the bottome of the page -

The only feature that I think is cool on ChiefsPlanet is the original post always stays on the top. Many threads get way off-topic and I forget what the original question/statement was...
