i dont know many directors...but my fav is probably Ice Cube...movies like Friday and All About the Benjamins is enough to win my vote. i also like Spike Lee...Hes Got Game is a great movie.

others i like are Peter Farelly. Dumb and Dumber, Something about Mary and he did a seinfeld episode

Dennnis Dugan is good too- he did Saving Silverman and Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy

EDIT** Upon further review Ice Cube did not direct Friday. Gary Gray did it. Hes one of my favorites too he did Set it Off which is probably my favorite move of all time. it turns out Cube isnt a director at all, hes only a writer. but hes a good writer.
