Harris suspended, Calhoun still injured. Other than that, its been a pretty quiet offseason eh? Ok maybe not... here's some info on the Harris suspension
The University of Colorado interim head football coach has suspended defensive end Marques Harris, who is under police investigation. Coach Brian Cabral announced Wednesday that Harris was suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, but he refused to elaborate. It's unclear what police are investigating and whether the case is connected to the suspension. Two roommates of a Boulder woman arrested last week on suspicion of attacking another CU football player said the two have been interviewed by Boulder police detectives in connection with accusations against Harris. The roommates said they were asked not to reveal details of the case, and said no one should jump to conclusions about it. The arrested woman, 20-year-old Belen Resendez, was accused of attacking her former boyfriend, sophomore defensive back Vance Washington, on April 15. Her roommates said she was not taking interview requests from the news media. When asked if Harris was involved in any investigation, Boulder police and city spokespeople would only say that they have forwarded the case to the office of Colorado Attorney General Ken Salazar.

I thought we agreed to two chicks at once with the money?
I think CU should just clean house and start from scratch. Put all these problems behind them. |

They will be the bottom feeders of the Big XII (well, except maybe Baylor)...for a year or two. This sort of thing can really shake up a program.

I don't think so. They had a good recruiting class two years ago. I think they will be alright if the defense can stop anyone.

Calhoun wanted out last year when Bieniemy left, so he's leaving now. BFD. He might have lead the team in rushing but he doesn't have the size to be incredibly successful at RB for CU. With Purify coming back and guys like Jolly and Crawford as Sophs, he's not going to be missed that much.

I'd like to thank the "compassionate" and "tolerant" liberals of the People's Republic of Boulder for causing CU to lose their first player because the scandal. Starting corner Sammy Joseph is leaving because of the atmosphere on campus and the way he's been treated because of his race.

Kansas State football "by the numbers"
32 Degrees fahrenheit in hell when K-State schedules a non-conference opponent in the top 25 21 Amount by which K-State will lose in the national championship game in the event their schedule gets them there 19 Number of 1-AA programs contacted by Bill Snyder when putting together his schedule for next year 2 Number of scholarship players most ideal K-State opponents have on their rosters 113 Number of 1-A schools we respect more than K-State Saully the mildcat. Stop pulling your pud for Bishop to come back... Live in the now Saully... live in the now....
