Dammit. I would of taken Jones regardless of having LT2.

Then San Diego could of shipped Brees off and possibly LT2 because he's going to have a monster contract coming up.

Now I gotta dig around.

I think we should cut the time limit now, since its the second round and the draft is approaching. How about 12 hours instead of 24?

Champ, 12 hrs is still too much IMO, with only approx 90 hrs left till the draft. Could we try 6 hrs max per pick.

How about this all picks have to be made in one day for round 2, all picks tomorrow for round 3, all picks for round 4 and 5 on thursday, and the round 6 and 7 on friday.

That is the only way its going to get done. If they dont pick than we just proxy there pick.

Its not going to work for this draft...too many people are busy and wont be able to come on the Mane everyday until Saturday to make draft picks...as for the NY Giants they select Will Poole CB, USC

Sandy Eggo grabs this beast off the buffet table. I don't know if he can play, but he looks mean enough to at least SCARE Jake Plummer. The Bolts need WR's to compliment Big Ben, but the best pudding is gone. The best offense is a good defense, ask Larry Coyer.

Antwan Odom
NFL Position: Defensive End
College: Alabama
Class: Junior
Ht: 6-5 1/2
Wt: 274
40: 4.73

Strengths: Good size...Active...Quick...Very strong...A sack artist with great closing speed...Produced as a junior despite all the attention he got from opposing offenses...Solid versus the run. One of the most talented pass rushers in the nation. Is just a blur off the edge rushing, he is so agile and graceful for such a big man. Has great athletic skill, awesome speed rusher that can just knock the offensive tackle backward. Odom plays with wonderful strength and aggression, just a great looking defensive end.

Weaknesses: Health? Collapsed and was taken to hospital in a practice session. Doesn't have top end pure speed...Can improve his technique...Lacks stamina. Does not show much more than awesome pass rushing skills, is not a complete defensive end but really at that position pass rushing is your main job. Is a very long lengthy athlete but will obviously have to get better in run defense to help his professional stock. Sometimes gets out of position and doesn’t read the play. Needs a lot of work at reading the offense, and needs to play the team game and not sell out for the QB every play.

Notes: One of the best all-around defensive ends in the Draft. Would have been a sure top ten pick next year. As a junior is probably late first or early second rounder. Freak athlete, that is said a lot about pass rushing defensive ends but Odom is a freak. He is strong, quick and moves with such grace and mobility around the corner. If he fills out just a little more and works on his total game he will be a very high draft pick. One of the best looking pass rush prospects around.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
In mock's opinion, this beast is totally undrrated and overlooked after the Bama disaster at Sammy's stripper club sent their coach to the woodshed, which is pretty hard to do in Bama. That pesky alumni club always sending hookers to your room....poor coach. Mock takes a big helping of prime beef off the Buffet table.

With RDE's that can get to the QB, this is like stealing candy from children on halloween. Go check your Wal-Mart price on DE's that can get to QB's. Try 6-7 million per. Even Berry cashed in. RDE's that can bring it off the weak edge are almost priceless. Mock takes his pick and runs off with the candy.

Edit:

If this were reality, it would be funny to watch this guy chasing Big Ben around at rookie camp. Too bad I probably won't have time to pick a LT to make the cartoon complete.

Time's up! It's safe to assume that Detroit won't take Sean Jones since they took Sean Taylor in the first. Cleveland will jump on Sean Jones with the next pick.

Sean Jones FS Georgia
Height: 6-1 Weight: 212

OVERVIEW
Hard-hitting tackler with excellent leaping ability … Standout performer on special teams who proved to be invaluable in the Bulldogs secondary, playing free safety, strong safety and Rover during his career … An outstanding kick blocker, Jones served as defensive co-captain during his junior campaign … Played in 37 games, starting 24 times … Finished with 250 tackles (140 solos), an 8-yard sack, 10 stops for losses of 35 yards, four quarterback pressures, three fumble recoveries for 105 yards in returns, seven interceptions for 100 yards in returns, four blocked kicks, a pair of kickoff returns for 55 yards (27.5 avg.) and 10 punt returns for 160 yards (16.0 avg.) … His 10 interceptions rank 10th on the school's career-record list … His four blocked kicks topped the old school career record of three by Boss Bailey (1998-99, 2001-02), Kendrell Bell (1999-2000) and Corrie Collier (2000-01).

ANALYSIS
Positives: Has a well-defined body with solid overall muscle development, long arms and thick thighs and calves … Shows fluid change of direction agility and above average body control … Relentless tackler and big hitter who shows toughness and a willingness to compete for the ball … Has the foot speed and control needed to break coming out of his backpedal … Shows no wasted steps transitioning out of his breaks … Has an explosive short burst, staying low in his pads to make plays in front of him … Has the acceleration needed to mirror receivers in the deep zone … Shows explosion out of his turns … Uses his hands effectively to shock receivers in press coverage … Makes sharp turns to trail receivers down the sidelines … Has superb leaping ability, utilizing it greatly as a kick blocker … Times his leaps and extends his arms to snatch the ball at its high point … Has a good feel for turning and locating the ball … Gets in the mix and is willing to support vs. the run … Big hitter who will face up and wrap with strength … Makes every effort to strip the ball from his opponent and has the quick instincts to recover and advance the ball.
Negatives: Good wrap-up tackler, but sometimes dips with his shoulder and makes grab tackles, resulting in missed hits … Has above average hands, but needs to use them better to jolt blockers when trying to disengage near the line of scrimmage … Gets fooled some by play-action and when this happens, he needs to regain his depth quicker … Sometimes tries to freelance, which results in him neglecting his responsibilities in the zone.

The Atlanta Falcons have a difficult time deciding between Smiley OG from Alabama, Dockett DT from FSU, and DE Jason Babin. Dan Reeves phoned in and was convinced the Falcons should draft the best available RB.

When its all said and done Darnell Dockett DT FSU is the pick.
