Default DPO paywall

So looks like Denver Post put up a pay wall which limits you to X amount of articles then locks you out until you sign up. I'm fine for them getting paid for their content, it's only 99 cents, but when I go to try and sign up, it's just busted.

Anyone else have the same issue? Is there any way to get those articles? I don't mind paying, but it seems like the system is broken.

Here's a question: If newspapers weren't part of the media, would all these people people be wringing their hands over the death of News Papers?

All the private modes work because they dump the cookies from that session after you close it.

What're you trying to ask here? The entire media industry is in a sort of flux right now. The web has created a Wild West market for media and because so many "writers" are perfectly content to offer up their "journalism" for free, it's created a situation where no model exists for digital sustainability, financially speaking. I've been in the newspaper industry for the past decade and I can tell you that newspapers can still be run at an insane profit if run correctly. The last paper I worked for before coming to the DP was in shambles just 6 years ago. They're now making money hand over fist and the toast of the Gannett corporation. The Denver Post has a long way to go to make up for the many internal mistakes that were made over the past 8 years but I assure you, they won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

I subscribe to the Sunday paper delivery because I still really enjoy reading the paper with a cup of coffee on the weekends, and the digital portion is free along with that subscription.

I agree with the first statement. Funny how those who always look to get free **** complain later when something isn't very good being free.

As for Internet Explorer, some programs or sites work better with I.E.

I wasn't complaining about the cost, I tried to pay and it wouldn't let me.

Anyway, going incognito works, thanks!
