A lot of people took breaks, some permanent. But I'd say it really started with McD and escalated. But never as bad as ESPN, Nice to see you back.

I will always refer to it as the War Between the Quarterbacks.

This is correct. And we sat together at a game in SD in 2006 I think. Broncos got killed.

Are you really back? You had an exact thread in 2011 but that was your only post.

I'm afraid that one you degenerates would find a way to convince my awesome wife to leave me - a fellow degenerate mind you - with well placed emoticons and clever Chiefs and Raiders jokes.

Welcome back to the epicenter of humanity! You were sorely missed. Please tell Dortoh to come back too.

Now, did you bring beer and cake like you were supposed to?

Not really. 2 years almost. MP needs to make his presence known. Some others have disappeared without a trace.

Yes but there were only a few of us holding our ground against the majority. Still wish I was proven wrong about the DB but glad with what John has done removing his stench from our history.

it started with Shanny benching Plummer and starting Cutler, and then getting fired. that's when it all began. the Griese controversy was too close to the back-to-back SB wins, so people weren't nearly invested. 13-3, but yet another playoff loss (to Pissburgh @ home!!) in 2005 proved to be the straw that broke the camel's back. from the 2006 season to the 2012 season, this place was pretty negative and angry. Manning's arrival ended that and brought this place back to a more reasonable level of negativity.

BTW, i still don't understand how a guy who led us to an AFC West title (after several years wandering in the wilderness) and a shocking upset win in the WC game is considered to be such a divisive figure in Broncos history. i think that says more about the people harboring bitter feelings than it does about Teebs.

I personally know more than a few posters here hated Tebow because of his religious beliefs. Why so many other jumped in is still beyond me as well. Kid did everything he could to win with a piss poor team and coaching staff.

Maybe many were insecure about how the lady in their life thought he was all that and more. I know my girl and her daughter at the time had the hots for him which did not bother me at all. Who knows.
