Awesome. Now all he needs to do is to start making coke-fueled monologues about division rivals like an 80's WWF star.

  1. Getting caught by the press. This affects his image and adds drama to the club. I don't count this story. It's the same as the one of Von with a porn star. It "looks" like prostitution and we all know it was, but he wasn't really caught.
  2. Getting caught by the league. Going into the drug program means you probably have a problem.
  3. Getting caught by authorities. Reasons are obvious.
  4. Missing practice time. If his hobby starts to affect his commitment during the week, then it's going to affect play.
  5. Stress from balancing party time and work time. Again, if it starts negatively affecting his ability to focus, you have a problem.
  6. Missing games. Obviously.

Obviously I'd prefer the whole team to be a bunch of boy scouts off the field, but that's unrealistic. They knew what he was when they drafted him and he's not the only player using in the league. If he's letting it affect his life, it's a problem.
Because eventually by "Managing" his recreational use he will be able to mark off each item on your list.

I didn't see this break yet and your right until he tests positive for coke this is a non-issue but where I take umbrage with your comment is that people can abuse substances and "manage" it. You don't manage a substance, the substance manages you quicker than you think.

It would be nice to see one of these college hot shots (like Timmy) who are supposed to be the next great thing actually be the next great thing and not flame out vs NFL level competition but I just don't see it being this kid.

He was just upset the bathroom was so filthy he started to make a money broom to clean it up. Nothing wrong with that.

The last thing I would want him doing was coke if I was a browns fan. Coke would own that guy so fast. What else could he be doing with a rolled up dollar? I can only think of one thing and I doubt it. Managing hard drugs is a pretty funny term. What if he was shooting heroin? Would you be OK if he was managing it?

Exactly. The only other thing he could possibly say is he was a a strip club and rolling them up to shove between some strippers balony flaps. I only saw he was at a CLUB and not a name of a night club. I'm sure some article says where he was. I was in Vegas too and it was a wild weekend there.

He didn't say abuse substances, he said manage recreational use. Alcohol is a drug just like anything else - most things in moderation don't cause problems. Different people handle things differently based on their personality and there are plenty of people out there who don't "abuse" drugs and a quite capable of managing them.

Even that scenario you wouldn't need a bathroom to roll it up. Just do it right there by the stage. That pic is what happens in all night club bathrooms.

You hit up the topless pools out there?

That doesn't look like a $100.00 to me. It looks like a $5er from here. Stay classy Johnny. You're only allowed to use a $5 to snort cocaine off of a toilet seat that's been warmed by a homeless man. The $100 dollar zone is the marble countertop.

Difference between alcohol and "other" substances is its legal. Moderation or abuse of it is allowed by law. High profile/attention grabbing QB who's Future WR just got blasted multiple times in possesion of a controlled substance isn't a good look for the browns. We can debate whether or not he was possesion or railing, but if I had to bet my life id say he was doing zingers right after that pic was taken.

Shame on you guys. Johnny was in the process of performing an emergency tracheotomy and didn't have a pen handy.

Things never looked that good for the Browns or Cleveland. Par for the course. Ohio is a ship of failure that continues to sail.

I have one time in the past. I think it was at Wynn/Encore. It's no big deal and usually the only women with tops off are ones you don't want to see. I stayed at Mandalay. It was full of Roman nose knot head MMA guys.

I don't believe using always = addict. I have friends that dabbled in that stuff and aren't druggies. It was similar circumstances - vegas, boobies, celebrating (whatever). If you're talking about someone who is fueling his habit on a regular basis, as Broncosteven mentioned, he'll unravel very quickly at all levels. Playing professional sports takes the kind of time and dedication at only allows for certain types of drug abuse to maintain your effectiveness. But if we're talking someone who goes to Vegas and likes to snort coke while he shoots craps a few times a year, I believe that is a manageable amount of abuse.

People snort any number of illegal substances, not just cocaine.

molly/ecstasy can be snorted (although I would highly recommend you don't), ketamine/K, methamphetamine, heroin, hell people even crush and snort pain pills.

I believe that Johnny was rolling that dollar up for innocent purposes as much as I believe that my uncle grows his own weed for medicinal purposes.

Haters. He was doing dollar bill origami.

It looks Johnny was building a scale model of the capitol building based on the fold patterns shown in that photo.
