To be honest I don't have a huge problem with Putin lol. He didn't really do or support anything we didn't already know was important to Russia. Like it's a surprise Russia and Syria are cozy? Nope they have navy stationed there. No surprise they wanted the Crimea either. Conservatives problem if that Obama let Putin punk him and diminish American influence. You don't come out swinging like Obama did then curl into the fetal position when Putin and Assad stand up to you.

Obama should have played it smarter. With Crimea he may have not had much choice on what he could do. The sanctions are a joke though and a better response would be to jut put missiles and jets places Russia doesn't want them. Add more countries to NATO etc etc.

Liberals' hero ignores law, but it's conservatives with the power grab. Geez these idiots are clueless. Like Krauthammer says, if a republican did all that Obama has, he'd be impeached. But Obama is a democrat so his supports and media suck his ass and what's even more pathetic, he'd really couldn't less about them.

I don't think so MHG. The US and Europe became complicit in manipulating the price of gold in 2011, while devaluing the currency by printing $1T per year. Europe is following the US lead on currency devaluation now. It's a race to the bottom with US, Europe, and China. The US and Europe governments deliberately devalue gold to force investment in the insolvent Euro and USD. None of the European governments will demand gold payments. Gold is the hedge against the falling USD and Euro. Gold is their enemy.

Yes, but the Germans are smart -- and they don't like this policy. They didn't go along with the US attack on Libya - -which was all about the petro dollar. Three former German Chancellors have savaged Merkel for being Obama's whore. The US policy in Ukraine is not in Germany's best interests. Why is Merkel supporting it? Is she being blackmailed? Very likely. Either that -- or the US is paying her off with bags of cash. MHG

Brit would have us believe the NSA spied on Merkel for the fun of it. MHG

NSA surveillance: Merkel's phone may have been monitored 'for over 10 years'

As German officials prepare to travel to the US, Der Spiegel cites a previously secret NSA document

A strong President can handle Putin. Obama? well no he can't. Bush JR was fooled by him also but Obama had that to go on. The next President hopefully will see him for what he is, someone who has to be engaged and beaten in a new cold war.

Dude crimean's have been beaten, killed, raped by russian soldiers. He stole an entire industrial area of another sovereign country. You don't seem like a guy who supports murder, rape and theft.

Putin has now turned his forces on eastern Ukraine. To date over 300 people killed. Neighborhoods pillaged, women raped, innocent people killed. There is a bogus cease fire underway while he reorganizes his troops for which could be an assault on Kiev and beyond.

Meck IMO that is par for the course for the Soviet Union errrr Putin. He's being exactly what he is.

I'd love to see Obama put him in his place and force him out of Crimea but to do that you have to be strong in the years leading up to it.

I'd love to see us put Putin in his place but what can we do? But IMO we could still crush Russia in world affairs if our Presidents would pull their heads out.

Mainstream media is not covering the atrocities of Crimea and Ukraine. Putin doesn't even have the balls to admit his troops have invaded Ukraine. I have friends and family there which I communicate with on a daily basis via FB. Dude Putin's troops have been terrorizing villages and town in Ukraine. They roll in take in local government buildings and a typical tactic is to RIP the heart of those who resist while STILL ALIVE. They then recruit people to fight for RUSSIA and threaten and kill wives and children of those that resist.

The media is not covering it. I have the pictures to prove it but it's too gruesome to post on here. Edit. You know what. You think Putin isn't that bad? Here ya go dude. http://inforesist.org/en/photo-18-ka...hest-versions/

It's flat out brutal and this is all done under Putin's orders.

The gaffo seems to think America is helping. I wish. Those people are on their own. Putin has even sent in chechans, released prisoners from Moscow, and any other ****ing low life willing to kill ukrainians for a paycheck.

Obama will move on, go on the speaker tour and make $50 milllion leaving our country a disaster. Meanwhile putin isn't going to give up power. He is the biggest threat to world peace that there is.

No doubt Putin is like a gangster running a country. I didn't realize things were that bad there though. You're right it doesn't get covered at all in the news. They have moved on to things like a dad killing his baby in a hot car. There is so much going on, so many stories, it's easy to fill an hour and leave out things bad for Obama. Just put things on like dead babies, a nanny who won't leave the house etc etc.

You can't blame Putin for wanting Crimea and Syria though. He is trying to expand Russian power. Our country needs to be more nationalistic to thwart him. We are to much into apologizing for being the USA.

It's hard to follow all the brutality and wars in the world actually. I have personal ties to this so I follow it closely. Nobody really knows or hears about unless it hits CNN or FOX. Even if they are hear the average person has no idea where Ukraine is and sadly not even Russia.
