Poorly worded on my part. It was a rhetorical question anyways.

What are the odds Congress will pass a jobs bill to help push the economy along?

This number reeks of more malfeasance by the Obama administration. A couple of months ago, the initial first quarter GDP came in at -1.0%. Keep in mind that this administration completely changed the way GDP has been calculated in modern times, falsely upwardly revising all GDP results by +0.5%. What this means is that the real 1st quarter GDP shrank -1.5%.

Now, we get a downward revised number to -2.9% (really -3.4%), three months after the 1st quarter ended. Currently, we are at the end of the 2nd quarter, and most of the 2nd quarter numbers are in. What we have here is an administration that is clearly shifting losses from the 2nd quarter into the 1st in order to prevent a technical Recession.

If the 2nd quarter GDP comes in at less than 3.9% growth (which it will), the US is technically now in a Recession. Just more fuzzy math, lies, and criminal acts by the Obama administration.

How about linking sources to these opinions?? Otherwise, it's just more partisan hyperbole.

Just sold an investment property I bought in 2008 for asking price, and it doubled in value. My home, also bought in 2008 has doubled in value and I am about to get 15% return on money invested with cash flow from renting it.

Where is this bad economy?

Seriously, the partisan bull**** around here is knee deep.

Also your thread title is nonsense. There is no 'free fall,' though there's still a distance to go and HTF is Obama trying to hide the economic performance?? He can't.

If you follow the markets, you know there was a large tech sell off in Q1 and a general slump in the stock market due to the fed pulling back, in several increments, on QE (it's now down to $35bn/month from $85bn).

It's exactly the expected result and not an indication of what the righties are hoping for (a total melt down). OH, and it happens to be exactly what the righties have been clamoring for.

Let me guess, reducing QE will now be something they are against...

I have to watch the markets, so like you I notice the sell offs and fed activities.

I don't think it matters to the right wing what positive news comes from the economy, they will find the one 'hiccup' to justify feeding more exaggerated bull**** to the uninformed.

Congress is a clownfest of partisan in-fighting where tax payers pay the tab as our representatives do little or nothing for the country.

Party first!!

The most frustrating thing to see fed is this perception that the Federal Government has some kind of dial on the macroeconomy that it can turn up or down at will.

I can see why Democrats like people to have that idea. But nothing could be further from the truth.

economy crap, security crap, Supreme Court having to rule Obama's actions unconstitutional, letting illegal felons run free, scandals at the VA where vets died, at the IRS where they targeted his enemies, and Benghazzi where he lied to us again.

Oh yeah it's a liberal utopia.

Soooo you get paid for repeating nonsense??

Gaffney has a similar arrangement with PCR and Informationcraphouse.

You should compare notes, though to be fair, Gaff also blows PCR.
