Didn't Manning say he wanted to play out contract here?
Obviously with his age it that is not given but I doubt he would of said that if he at least was considering it

I think the deal ends after the 2016 season

Source: “Nothing going on” between Broncos, Demaryius Thomas -
(Approx. 8:30 AM, ET)

"Friday brought multiple reports that the Broncos have made a five-year offer to receiver Demaryius Thomas. A source with direct knowledge of the situation has provided a more sobering assessment.

“Nothing going on,” the source said.

The source also explains that an offer has not been made to Thomas, on a five-year deal or any other terms." ...

I think AJ Green is really good, but as I said, only 2 guys I take over DT.

The obvious rebuttal to that for a normal receiver would be, sign it now in case you get injured or have a bad year. DT isn't normal, he's elite and they don't just have "bad" years. I bet DT only signs right now is if he gets what he thinks he would get next year anyway and/or guaranteed money blows his mind.

I trust Vic Lombardi's Bronco-related report far more than anything coming from the national media, especially pft.

Dalton is lower tier starter/ideal upper tier backup imo.

I definitely think DT is top 3-5 WR in the league. I rank him just below Calvin along w/ AJ Green and a healthy Julio Jones. Put Andre Johnson right there too if you'd like, but I like DT more at this juncture

This is pretty much where i am.

After Calvin/Fitz, maybe Green, anywhere else is fair play.

Demaryius is a top ten receiver in football. I would place Megatron, Green and Fitzgerald as guys who could be considered better.

Brandon Marshall is one of the best in the business. Consistent 100 catch seasons and 1,000 + yards. People just hate on this board, but he is excellent. I would place those four and Demaryius in the Top 5. A lot of good receivers. Josh Gordon is in the mix as well.

Demaryius, Latimer and Sanders are the future. I like Denver rewarding the Thomases, and getting good value for peformance (assuming Latimer and Sanders do well) im relation to money invested.

Would like to see a valuable hback who can play a variety of roles. If Latimer works -- we are set. Just need a savvy vet and speed/return guy to round out the final spots. Maybe one of these UDFA can stick.

I really disagree on Dalton. He is a top 8 starter in the NFL. Has improved his play each year and definitely gets it done for his team. He turns it over a little too much but hell, he's been getting the Cincinnati Bengals to the playoffs.

I'd take DT over White, Marshall and certainly Andre at this stage in his career. He's a top 5-6 guy, IMO. Him, Julio and AJ Green are pretty close, with Megatron, Dez and Fitz being my top 3.

Fitz still has great hands, but did anyone watch the dude other than me last year?

He is not a top 5 WR anymore, top 10 ya..

Megatron
AJ Green
Healthy Reggie Wayne
Healthy Julio Jones
DT
B Marshall

Fitz isn't top 3 anymore in my opinion.

Andre Johnson is still a beast, in top 3 IMHO but, obviously has less productive years ahead of him (as does Fitz). DT is Def top 6, (with lots of good years ahead) no matter who's ranking them.

Other than Calvin Johnson, no other WR plays for the ball as well as Andre Johnson.

No the hell he is not. The Bengals are going to overpay him and be stuck in lingo for many years. He is a solid starter but he is not a franchise QB. He is in the 3rd tier of QB's. Elite(HOF) is tier 1, franchise is tier 2, solid starter is tier 3.

I know this is a foreign concept for you since your franchise and front office sucks but Denver actually sets up contracts to be really team friendly and allows them to constantly have a solid cash flow to pay other players.

It's funny to me how he claims Elway isn't a good GM then asks questions like that.

Denver manages the cap well.

And how they set their contracts.

They'll lose some players like all teams do but they didnt go for broke, they still have plenty of cap room to sign some core players.

Unlike the media who says otherwise.

Cap 101. Suggest you read how it works.

Or just do some research on Mike Sullivan.

Oh and I'd still take DT over Gordon. Who won't even play this year. All his Talent wasted.

Might be painful for him but it's clear as day for the rest of us.
I just wonder if he is that guy at the stadium who stands up and says a player rules when they score in garbage time.

I think he'd put up as good of numbers as DT, possibly better, with Manning. But it's definitely up for debate.
