Does he have children? Clomid has a spermatogenesis indication. But if he already has kids you can laugh at his cool story.

now they've put the doctor's name out. I'm sure he's elated about this as well.

I am concerned and they know it. The part I said about not caring if they juice isn't entirely true. I've mentioned on here before that I was addicted to heroin/coke for 6 years. People are gonna do what they want and nothing you say to them can change that.

Yep, they were trying to have another child, apparently for his mother who is dying.
Story sounds more and more like some grade D bull ****.

I get that, each person will do what they want. I was just taken aback by you saying you didn't care.

That explains why Mathis and the Seahawks were the only one who dominated Chris Clark all year.

That was poor word choice on my part. Its not that I don't care, its more that I recognize that kind of behavior and realize nothing I do can change it. And these guys aren't too extreme with it. They do a test e cycle once, maybe twice a year, and that's it. Still not good for them but nothing like the crap some athletes put in themselves.

I've just accepted that I can't change them.

If you were overly concerned about their health you wouldn't like football.

That's true of any sport. I was referring to his friends. People he personally knew.
People who know me will tell you. I am a cold hearted SOB.
Even I wouldn't say I didn't care about them juicing in that situation.
It was just a shock to me(which is saying something as little shocks me)

Don't get me wrong. I am not judging him, it just caught me off guard.

Even if Mathis's story is true, he still screwed up by not checking with the NFL. The NFL preaches this all the time and still the players don't follow their advice and there's only one reason why they don't...

" Any baseball lug on a steroid bender can remain in touch with his feminine side but still feel a tad self-conscious when encountering a Midol moment or when shopping for a manssiere in the “Seinfeld” catalog.

So there is Clomid, the wonder drug that mitigates the feminizing side effects brought on by steroid use. Call it a physical masking agent.

A player experiencing a testosterone dry spell while on steroids will probably want to kick-start nature’s pump once his doping cycle ends.

So there is Clomid, the miracle preserve of manville. It’s not just for female ovulation anymore.

The fertility drug is so popular among male dopers that the former Mets batboy Kirk Radomski kept a stash of Clomid in his pantry of steroid staples for the stars, a juicy cache that was seized when federal agents raided his Long Island home on Dec. 14, 2005.

Clomid is the Alfred Hitchcock of drugs, with its profile in at least one scene of every baseball steroid saga. It is everywhere: in the 2003 grand jury testimony of Barry Bonds and Jason Giambi as reported by The San Francisco Chronicle, on confiscated doping calendars from Balco, in the pages of “Game of Shadows,” on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s prohibited substance inventory.

It is everywhere but on the list of Major League Baseball’s banned substances — an indicator that baseball’s drug-testing policy remains deficient to the point of willful incompetence.

“Clomid is a red flag saying, ‘Hello, what’s wrong with this picture?’ ” said Dr. Gary I. Wadler, an associate professor of medicine at New York University and a member of the antidoping agency. “Why is a male taking this drug? In this context, there is no legitimate reason, only illegitimate.”

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/02/sp...erts.html?_r=0

So his Dr. had no clue about any of this

I would be thrilled to find out they were stopping. They know I don't approve. I've just accepted them for who they are and I'm not losing sleep over the fact that they don't listen to me. Don't mean to sound cold, I DO care. Stuff like this is easier for me to accept. I've noticed quite a few similarities between addicts and gearheads. Neither feel fulfilled without their ****. My views may be harder to understand for people who've never experienced addiction.

It's hard to tell someone what they should or shouldn't put in their body when you've been shooting speedballs for years. Makes me come off as a hypocrite, which they love to point out.

I don't have any doubt that PEDs have won more NFL games than kickers.

I've always wondered what the average was for guys juicing per team. Gotta be a pretty high number unfortunately.

Mathis actually has 3 kids born in 2012/2013.

I used to work in a pharmacy, and clomid was only prescribed to women trying to get pregnant. Not men.

Now, now, according to the doctor he recommended that Robert take it and not the wife.
So obviously it must be true.

Off label it helps boost T-levels in men and does so without shrinking the testes, though it hasn't been officially authorized for that purpose.

These guys know what they can and can't take. If they are unsure consult the team Doctor. It really isn't that hard. You cheat and get caught well 4 games isn't that big of a deal.

Exactly. He should've known instantly that Clomid was a no-no, assuming his fertility story is true (which I don't buy for a second).
