Default Guess It's Official (Orlando Franklin)

Local news announced that in today's OTA, Franklin was moved over to LG. He says he's not pissed about it. As long as he's in the top five, he says he's fine with it.

Emmanuel Sanders says the extra practice with Peyton is fine with him. He says that's how you win on Sundays.

I'm too lazy to check. But I would assume elite guards make as much or more than right tackles on the open market. He's smart not to object in his contract year. Here's hoping he's a monster inside.

Then there was the tweet where he said "I'm playing left guard". That one seemed to sort of confirm it too.

It's not official until he starts the first game there. We'll spend the offseason and preseason playing different guys at different positions until we find the best lineup. I look forward to the confused posts when Franklin is seen taking RT snaps for a day in training camp.

That's what I figured. Zane Beatles, 5 years, 30, 13 in g-money. Michael Oher, 4 years, 20, 9.5 g-money. Nuff said.

Im sure this is one hell of a relief for our quarterback that hes not working you too hard.

He was talking about the extra reps outside of regular practice.

It all depends though, elite RT's who teams feel can move over to LT get paid more than guards in FA. But that is so rare of a occasion that it almost never happens.

Top OG's make around the same as RT's or lower LT's as many have already said in previous posts.
If Franklin takes to the position and fully embraces then we might have a very special OG on our hands.
