got any backup? i haven't seen a chinese restaurant that closed due to being dirty. as a matter a fact, i haven't seen any close. please show me some stat from the government showing that chinese restaurants close because of poor health conditions vs all the other restaurants. maybe u are just talking out of your ass?

have you been to china town in houston or dallas? the banquet halls have bathrooms that are immaculate with modern sinks and vanities. they hold weddings and receptions every week for not just hundreds but thousands of people.

the best part about that is the menu is large and fits everyone taste. you don't have to order everything, just what you think is good.

How could I forget the Oxtail Yum- the curries as well.

I lived in Jamaica for a year just outside of Alligator Pond. They made this pineapple gravy one time that was some of the most ridiculously good tasting stuff I have ever had for Thanksgiving.

I found this one spot in Denver off of Colfax that is a hole in the wall but is straight up legit-

Caribbean Bakery
2934 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80206
(303) 399-7993

Dude is from Trinidad and it's the only place I know of in Denver that instantly takes me back to the island.

Beef patties are only $2 and pack a spicy punch. Don't expect much for décor though...

Mexican is winning this poll? Don't get me wrong, Mexican food is great, but come on. It's all just meat, cheese, and tortillas.

By the way, real Italian food is better than everything. Period. If you didn't vote Italian, you simply have never had real Italian food, or your taste buds are completely broken.

It's all about legit green chile if you ask me....

The funny thing is that I don't even really consider it different than American food lol

Dim Sum in Denver- Where do you all go?

My favorites are Star Kitchen, Kingsland, Super Star and some joint east of I25 on Evans although they only serve it on the weekend.

I've raised some chickens lately with my kiddos, and I have to admit that I'm so attached to them that I no longer enjoy chicken. Those chicken feet look like murder.

I used to live in the middle east and there are some decent spots around town- you should give it a shot sometime.

Everyone knows Jerusalems but there is also Ya Hala on Colorado Blvd, and Damscus Grill on Littleton Blvd.

Appearances can be deceiving...

No love for Spain?!? Spent a year there back in college and never ate so well.

One of the best days of my life was when Mrs Bean found an authentic Spanish restaurant near Boston that actually knew what they were doing.

"Literal catharsis"?

Sounds painful.

Some of the best restaurants I've been to leave alot to be desired as far as decor. Food is usually off the chain though.

When I was growing up in Denver, there used to be this mexican restaurant on the east side (can't remember the name) that made what they called a "Mexican hamburger."

Almost like a fajita except they would shape a beef patty like a half moon, put it inside a flour tortilla with the vegetables and cover it with a green chile sauce.

Getting hungry just thinking about it!

Hmmm... not Chinese? This sounds like a fun parlor game....

Your profile says you're based in Texas, your OM handle is SleepingTiger, and you seem partial to asian food...
