12year old donation by someone who was hedging his bet? Is that your "smoking gun".

Leahy. Bradley. Does it even matter? Why are libs so caught up on hoping every republican is a racist? Minority votes are more valuable than gold I guess.

Yes, it wasn't right then, and it isn't right now......but I find it odd that Larry Johnson's solution to end racism is segregation? and of course you fail to address that...

There has been talk the league could force him to hand over the team to his estranged wife as part of joint property laws… but she is her own piece of work. In some of the housing discrimination cases against Sterling it was learned she posed as a government health inspector to gain access to apartments. She was part of the problem.

Why not? She's already separated from him. Clearly Sterling likes to bone other women. She was present at the game yesterday sitting front row. Even did an interview with ABC.

Side note. Do you really need the Clippers in LA? I'd have no problems if they were sold and moved to Seattle.

Sterling should be forced to sell the team to a group of minorities led by Magic.

The wife owning the Clippers would not change anything.

I'm sure you're one of those who believed her when she said she's not a racist yesterday.

It's a possibility. The NBA can't force him to sell the team or take over the team.

amazing how you attack me for pointing out his racist remark by pointing out a believed technicality.
You're making an assumption, just like he is making an assumption. So it's ok for you to assume something, but not for him? I'm not defending or attacking anyone, I'm pointing out a fact.

I don't think they can force him to sell the team. Only the sponsors and the fans have the power to do that. If he loses enough money, he won't have any options, but to sale the team.

Don't bother wasting your time with him. He is going to see what he wants to see, no matter what you write. He's delusional and in denial if he believes anything he writes.

Yeah so not getting consent of the other party when recording in Cali is a crime. In Colorado, its not. You can look up two party state etc.

I hope the lady gets into trouble as she did commit a crime and its only fair. Obviously, the Clipper's owner is a bigger d-bag from an ethical standpoint.

You can also get into civil trouble for exposing folks too even say the girlfriend had consent from the old man. However, this type of tort is typically more difficult to prove.

Can the other owners exclude the Clippers from the NBA?

According to the news, he apparently knew and approved of the records, so no crime was committed. Although the only place I heard that is on CNN, so if any one can find more evidence on this, it be appreciated.

I only heard it on CNN and they are saying there was no consent. If he did approve then he is a pretty big idiot. But approval is not merely engaging in the call so maybe some news outlets are confused. Unsure, but I would be surprised if the NBA owner explicitly said "I approve of this conversation being recorded" when he girlfriend called. That is pretty stupid.

They can however threaten to eliminate the team if he doesn't.
The commish can bring it to a vote and only 3/4 of the NBA owners have to ratify it.

This, if 3/4 of the owners are leaning that way a sale would be made. It would never get to exclusion.
