As you said, he seems like a Sam in our system, but it wouldn't shock me if he could handle the middle. Regardless, he's a football player. I can't see him being a bust. |

He makes plays all over the field. MUG initially thought he could transition and play MLB. I was very hesitant at first, but when you watch the tape, BYU ran a lot of subpackage defensive snaps with Van Noy playing in coverage, blitzing, playing the run. He just has such a versatile skill set. |

![]() I'd probably take Van Noy at 31. Can't see him being a bad player. Great skill set. Always room for guys like that

![]() Broncos can play a smaller player at MLB if Big Vick and Pot Roast are in the lineup. Throw in the Ware a good sized player, Wolfe a good sized Dend and the Broncos could have a big front 4 that allows a smaller MLB.

![]() 1. X Sua Filo (Keep Franklin at OT and have a nasty OL)
2. Kyle Van Noy LB (May need to move up in 2nd, but versatile, can cover, and does everything well) 3. Stanley Jean-Baptiste (Don't know much about him, but think the Broncos are going to be a physical defense, and will draft a bigger CB, thy might have a wild card like last year with Webster in mind though) 4. WR. (I don't know who, but should be able to find a WR with a lot of potential here as the draft is so deep) 5. Daniel Sorenson (Great ST player and good safety depth, just what you want in a 5th rounder) 6-7. Don't care after that. Hopefully they find a steal here. Possible RB and TE as far as position goes. |

![]() Guys I think we are evaluating the current day defense incorrectly. LB's are the worst on coverage situations. I think the premiums should be paid to those DL's that can either get to the QB's and DB's that can cover in zone and man. LB's should only be considered if they have good blitz or pass rush capabilities.
That's my 2 cents on how we should draft. |
