ah, got ya. yeah, he good. He's going to be a good slot option for someone I think. It is kind of weird how the NFL rule changes/emphases have helped in us talking about slot WRs being taken in the 1st on a regular basis.

CB. Take one, Denver. Move up a few spots if need be, but get a top CB.

Yep, seems like there's at least one every year.

Yep. I've seen some mocks that have fuller going 15-20, and Gilbert and Dennard falling into the early 20's. If that happens, I really hope we make a move. I had hopes for a while Fuller might fall to us at 31, but it's not happening.

I can buy Dennard going over Gilbert, but Fuller too and him falling to #23?
Only in my dreams!

He might not fall to #23. But I could see Fuller going ahead of him. Miami would be an ideal trading spot.

If your scenario plays out for us, I'll be sporting some serious wood for a week.

Gilbert and Dennard are likely the first two CB's off the board. I do not see a scenario where Gilbert goes after Fuller.
And I am a huge Fuller fan.

Same size as Mosley. Hell of a lot faster. And has plenty of room to add size to his frame. Shazier is going to be an all star in the league at olb or MLB.

i like the speed. i've never really seen him play really. just watched the highlight reels. i just wonder if he's stout enough to take on blocks and show the toughness elways going to be looking for.

I won't be at all surprised if the Broncos do trade up. They have lots of picks to play with next year. Think they trade up to around 20 if one of the linebackers or a corner they like is still there.

Elway would probably wait until only one of his (4) difference makers are left. When the list is down to one of the coveted players he'll make a big push to move up using this year's 1st and hopefully some combo of next years picks. Get one defensive difference maker if possible.

The rest of the draft they let come to them. JMO

Whoever the person is (might be you) who makes the trade with kc to draft Gilbert, and then the rest of the draft.... DAAAAAMN, LOVE IT!!!!

I so wish that guy was the Broncos GM.

Correction, that is you. Love your draft:

23 Gilbert (best CB in Draft)
56 Moncrief (big, fast WR)
131 Tripp (productive LBer)
171 Linder (Oline depth)
207 Dowling (LOVE THIS GUY, big physical safety)
246 Bibbs (RB depth)

very solid

Post your REALISTIC snapshot mock. No trade scenarios, keep it concise.

#31 - Jason Verrett
#63 - Travis Swanson
#95- Avery Williamson
#124 - Jeff Janis
#155- Kapri Bibbs

The Broncos Superbowl hopes rest on the best realistic list!
Revisiting my Broncos mock:

#31 - Bradley Roby - probably an upgrade over my pick Verrett
#56 - Cody Latimer - definitely an upgrade over my pick Janis
#95 - Michael Schofield - definitely an upgrade over my pick Swanson
#156 - Lamin Barrow - they could have chosen my pick Williamson at #131, but for some reason chose to trade down and take Barrow instead. My only questionable pick of the draft.
UDFA - Kapri Bibbs - scored my pick Bibbs as a UDFA for great value.

The only reason I can think of that they didn't do that, is because they didn't like Williamson's performance in coverage. They didn't love any LB's at #131. Make or break pick of the draft, we'll wait and see. Picked up an extra 5th.
Williamson doesn't have the instincts to be an NFL middle linebacker. He has similar size and athletic ability to Barrow, but that's it. I think he's a career special teamer in this league. We'll see.
