Sam Bradford?
Would the Rams draft a qb then?

I have a hard time imagining the Rams trading Bradford

They have 2 1sts...I could see this pretty easily happening.

Have they even started? Bradford is an injury waiting to happen.

Well his cap hits are large the next 2 years, his guaranteed money is all paid up but you can cut him for little cap penalties if you wanted to.

The rumor was they would then take Johnny Football either at #2 or #13.
Minny reportedly doesn't want to take a QB at #8 and wants to wait later in the draft or trade for one.

I expect MIN to go DEF @ #8 and then make a move for their QB with their next selection. Could even move up with #40 and the extra 3rd from Percy and still have a third to get another guy. Spielman is an aggressive guy and loves moving around -- I think the Vikings will be big players this year again.

The problem though. Minny cannot evaluate QB's to safe their life.
All their picks have sucked and so have their FA signings and trades.

Favre is the best QB they have had since Culpepper.

Isn't that why they brought in Norv Turner?

The problem isn't the coaching. It's the GM and the scouts.
They picked Ponder because he was a perfect fit for Musgrave and his WCO.

Everyone and their mom knew it was a ****ty pick and only the Vikings ever tried to sell it.

Yeah, as an FSU fan who was watching that draft with a Vikings fan -- I can't tell you how much I laughed. Just couldn't believe it.

My biggest concern with trading up.

@RapSheet: Big question being weighed by teams in the late 20s/early 30s who want to move up: Do I need to give up a 3rd to do it? Most don’t want to.

I had to verify that they said that name. I truly could not believe they took him until he actually signed and they kept preaching that he was the 12th best player in the draft and a top notch QB.

I had him as a 3rd round pick that would likely go in the 2nd to some desperate team.

The Rams should've traded Bradford to get Luck when they had the chance, and I said so two years ago; my tune hasn't changed. They should take Mack (assuming Clowney goes #1), trade Bradford, and take Bortles.

in this scenario i think the assumption is they get a 1st for Bradford. Any team who gives a 1st for Bradford and that contract is a little batty. Or they are the Browns, Raiders or Jaguars.

Theyd be a great partner for the Broncos to move back. They'd have to give up their second and a third.

That's not the assumption at all. They have picks #2 and #13. I'd take a 2nd or a player/package. Take Mack #2 Bortles @ 13 and address other needs (WR) with the extra mid-round picks in a deep WR draft.

Man alive that defense would be sick. But the WR corps would still be meh.
Austin is coming on but not a ton else.

I've read really good things about stedman bailey. And the running backs duo of Stacy and Benny Cunningham might be really really good. They just need a qb and a wr.

Mack would make that defense close to the rest of that divisions. I can't believe those four defenses are all in the west.

Just think, 3-4 years ago it was the worst division in football.

Would like to see DEN take a flyer in the later rounds on Hurns as a developmental slot receiver.

I'm getting pretty excited about the Ward/Moore combo at Safety this year. I think they both have similar personalities and football intellect. I think they'll work very well together.

Finally have some major strength and leadership in both our Safeties. Can't wait to see what we add in the draft.

Mostly I'm excited about how well Ward plays in the redzone. That's when his thumping style of physical play really pays off.
