um no. A speed back is the last thing they want/need.

Arians and the FO loves Ellington, and for good reason.

Lower risk, big reward, get us over the hump player.
He is on the trend of lowering ypc every year in the past few. I think he would be effective in Denver just overpriced.

If this is accurate, Jets have plenty of cap room to do it.

CJ is not JUST a speed back, IMO. ellington's gonna have durability issues and I think will become a glyn milburn/Quentin griffin, not a Clinton portis.

Not sure why you'd just make some random thing up like that.
Lol Eddie Lacy had two bad games after Rodgers went down. Every thing he said was true. Lacy ran for 6 TDs, 441 yards, and had a 4.2 you average. His YPC was hurt badly by his TWO poor games as well. Anytime a RB can have games of 4.4, 6.71, and 5.6 ypc games when your star QB is out it safe to say he is doing his job.

as long as its noted that YPC trend follows the Overall quality of the Titans team. We do agree on effectiveness.

Incarcerated Bob says CJ2K is deciding between #Broncos and #Panthers.

Really he would be a good fit with either team.

Im curious why the panthers with like 50 mil in salary at RB...with Dwillaims, stewart, tolbert would then look to add CJok?

I find this very odd indeed. Bob is a dum***

Williams is 31, Stewart isn't good anymore, and Tolbert is a good back up/role player.

Bob is usually wrong or makes educated guess based on needs and prior rumors. Looking at the few teams that could help C2J land another big deal, Denver and Panthers could be high on that list. Plus he went to college at East Carolina.

With the titans the opponents keyed on stopping CJ. With the broncos the opponents typically key on stopping the passing game. CJ should be able to do some damage with the broncos under those conditions.

Panthers have less than $3.5mil in cap space so would have to do some finagling...

I don't see him going to Carolina, so I hope Bob is right.

He is probably taking Schefters hint that he thought the Broncos would swoop in and land him under the radar without naming them outright like the rest of us did then added Carolina because they were in the playoffs and current.

It's worth a try, but I doubt CJ2K gets the Jets over the hump. They need a QB same as the past 30-40 years.

I guess the question is would CJ2K have made a difference in last years Super Bowl, and would he make a difference in this years projected Super Bowl.

I think with a legit home run run game threat it would have taken a lot of heat off the receivers who they brutalized and blanketed because they had no fear of KM.

Ball is a grinder in the KM mold but he is equal to or better than KM at this point. Add a speed back who can make one guy miss or fly through a hole or get outside and teams can't key on the Pass and have to cover every option.

Last year no. This year with a healthy team maybe. 9 defensive starters from that Super Bowl defense not starting on our team in 2014.
