Default Do we draft a QB anywhere?

Do we? And say someone like a Aaron Murray is there (3rd, 4th..), do we grab him?

David Fales in the 6th or 7th is my dream pick. Dude has the potential to become a franchise QB after a little time learning from the sidelines.

I am the biggest David Fales fan on this site and I am willing to fight anybody with fists to prove it.

I generally agree, though in the unlikely event if someone really really good falls to us, they might pull the trigger.

Fales went to San Jose State. He led them to a top 25 ranking in 2012.

I think Tom Savage would be worth a flyer in the 7th.

Better to use the pick to trade up if a player we really like falls to within a few picks ahead of us.

Because in the modern NFL the QB is the most important position on the field. There is currently not enough information on Osweiler or Dysert to predict their future. So, you keep grabbing talent and developing it because having too many NFL caliber quarterbacks is not a problem. Having too few is.

I don't know. Elway seems to like physically big QB's. His draft picks and UDFA signings have all been 220+ and 6-2 or above.
We have been rumored in the past to like smaller guys in the draft but never seem to take them, nor sign them as UDFA's.
Ryan Katz is the only guy in the Elway era that I can remember being smallish and he was 6-1 214.

My guess would be that if we take a QB it will be a Mettenberger,McCarron,Thomas or Savage type.

There's literally no room. Unless you think Dysert and Osweiler HAVE no future, why are you grabbing a late rounder?

Maybe in the late rounds (6th, 7th), depending on how they feel about the current #3 QB.
