I wanna go fly fishing for some Tarpon.
Fishing and beach? Last time we went to Turks and Caicos, they were having a fishing tournament there for "Bonefish," no pun intended. Talked to a couple guys on the beach that absolutely loved the experience, and said it was an exciting fish to catch.

Then, there's the beach and booze...

However, i do love me some "One Barrel Rum" in Belize, expecially in a "Panty Ripper."

What's the weather like up there in May? Sounds like a cool trip to take.

The plan for my fiance and my honeymoon is Rome. Nothing is set in stone though. She's currently 6months pregnant and wants to wait on the actual wedding until after the baby is born and she can fit into the dress she wants. She also wants us to take a dance class prior to the wedding(don't know if that is a normal thing or if her bridezilla crap is starting). So sometime in the next few years I may be going to Rome.

You have a kid on the way. The only thing you will be doing for the next 3 years is realizing you are a slave to the most powerful person on earth. A baby that pupates into a toddler that will seek out new ways every 5 minutes to try to kill him/herself. You basically have 3 months of the life as you have known it remaining. Use the time well!

Well its really not a boat. It's more like a 56' triple Decker with Hot tub maters suit with Jetted tub. Water slides BBq wet bar. You can rent Jets ski and tie them to the side. It's pretty sweet really.

Belize is safe for the most part. Ambergris Key is beautiful. Great diving. I'm not too sure about the fishing. It's marlin and sailfish season here in the mexican carribean right now until early May.

My advice is to stay away from Belize City unless you are taking a ferry or a puddle jumper over to the Keys.

Have fun!

Solid advice! Go to Belize, fish, then drink in St Pedro. Oops, San Pedro.

I know several people that have gone to Iceland and they loved it. The big thing everyone says is you stay as close to the mud pits as possible and they spent almost all their time there. With that said, it is also one of the most expensive vacations on the planet.

Shasta lake level is a little less than 100 feet down from where it should be. So it's not as bad as say 2008. Plus we've started getting rain storms rolling through that should rise it a little.

Well... You have been to Belize. You've been on a boat in a lake. Go somewhere different, like Iceland.

So predictable ... such a boring choice.

Mrs. Quoydogs: "Look here Q, says here they speak English in Belize."
Quoydogs: "Good, let's go there ... I'm tired of lugging around an English-Spanish dictionary."

Actually I'd have picked Belize too.

We've been to Belize too and the native language in Jamaica is also English. This is good because I plan on being so ****ed up that I hope I can't see straight. 10 days of Dirty Banana's and rum punch.
