Scroll back. Someone gave him a C grade and said he hasn't been worth the draft spot he was taken in. He absolutely has been worth a 2nd rounder. MUG stated Franklin "will absolutely lose out to Clark". That IMO states he doesn't think very highly of Franklin if a career back up(until injury forced him to start) easily beats him out.

So from there you decided the appropriate leap in judgment was that they think he's "terrible"?

Terrible would be losing your solid starting position to a career back up player. And someone had stated he would absolutely lose his spot to one. So ya.

Not sure why you are zeroing in on me when I've seen at least 10 posts from others bringing up Franklin "hate"

By the same places that "graded" Orlando so highly do the same with Clark who played a far more difficult role.

In fact, Dallas and own Ware were shut down so hard that they started rolling to Franklin.

I don't agree with MUG that it's a slam dunk for Clark, but it's certainly not a slam dunk for Franklin either.

More importantly and to a broader OM audience: if you don't CONSTANTLY blow every player, you're not a hater.

Also, you know full well how intellectually dishonest this post is.

Who's talking about blowing every player? I dislike quite a few actually. As far as grades Clark was the only OL with a negative grade this year. He performed well overrall but IMO he doesn't unseat a player who's been good to great over his career.

Clark completely owned Ware that day. Does that mean I think Clark would beat out Franklin at RT? Nah.

Irrelevant. No one has said a bad word about Franklin, but you have people tripping over themselves to defend him from a cadre of meanies that are calling him "terrible".

...even though NO ONE did. In fact, no even came close.

The best you've managed to defend yourself with is that a poster referred to him as a "C" which is the definition of average and not terrible. In fact, it's quite literally a ways away from terrible.

FYI, next time someone calls you on hyperbole, just say, "Yeah, I'm exaggerating, I just feel he's under-appreciated by some"

The "Desperate-Clutch For a Flimsy-Ass Excuse" is just a very poor strategy.

No. The best I've managed to defend was someone saying Franklin absolutely loses his job to a career back up.

Sorry but saying "absolutely loses his starting position" is saying that player isn't good.

Sorry next time I'll say "isn't good" instead of terrible.

I can now see why you have so many enemies here. Your posts come off as belittling anyone who you don't agree with.

And you justify referring to Clark's sterling 2013 performance with another lie by saying he had a "negative" grade.

Please reference this. Anywhere.

From PFF since that's likely what you're referring to with "grades":

Could Chris Clark take on an inside spot? Playing in place of Ryan Clady at left tackle for most of the season, Clark put up a +16.8 overall grade in the first extended playing time of his six-year career; ranking him among the top half of the league’s left tackles for the year. We’ve seen some entrenched tackles slide inside when needed, perhaps there’s a left guard solution in-house.

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...enver-broncos/

So what's likely the source you vastly misunderstood since he not only doesn't have a negative grade, he has a very high positive grade and is in the top half of LT's... not bad for "a career backup".

If he's competitive with the top LTs, why is him being competitive with Franklin so personally offensive to you?

I've been looking for the link I read on these threads. Maybe it was Beadles. Congratulations. You sure told me off. You win the Internet. Good job. Now go stroke your own ego about telling a complete stranger off.

Also to answer your last question, giving up 8 sacks, 10 penalties, 7 QB hits and 27 hurries in 14 games isn't on par with the "top LTs" in this league.

No, you're still missing the point.

Your contention was that people think Franklin is terrible.

We have absolutely determined that nothing remotely close ever even happened.

That's the whole point. Nice to see the sensitivity that had you making these claims to begin with continues to persist here. You knew you were making **** up and you had plenty of opportunities to just admit it. But by all means, don't let me get in the way of a solid temper tantrum.

Nothing "remotely" yet MUGs post in the will thread is just that. You asked for ONE example. I gave you one. Now buh bye.
