Tonight, it was Crown Royal black mixed with barq's old fashioned root beer. It's a PERFECT combo.

Pendleton 1910 is quality stuff. In my neck of the woods, that brand of whiskey is right up there with crown. 1910 and root beer? Where do I sign?

Have you ever tried a Whiskey & Ginger Ale? Also good if you like Ginger Beer (no Alcohol) Fever Tree makes good stuff

Made a drink the other night that tasted just like a Jolly Rancher -- Malibu rum, Apple Pucker, Squirt and grenadine with just a splash of 7up and margarita mixer.

If there's leftover coffee, I don't pour it out. Cold coffee, ice cubes, Kahlua, Bailey's, hot chocolate mix, and vodka or light rum, all blended together makes a very tasty drink.

Why would you taint that with ice cubes? I usually go with the Ardbeg 10 myself but the Lagavulin 16 and Laphroaig 10 are great as well.

I've usually had it with 151 or just some vodka; Everclear sounds too intense.

Also, I've only done it with stems since that is one of the few ways to extract the THC. Pure nugs seems like it would be kind of a waste (but obviously more potent).

Would love to -- but road trips are far more fun than flying.

Sounds like something that would be fun if we can both make it to "OM Weekend 2014".

For a friend's birthday a couple of months ago, we made her a rum & coke -- took the end slice of a lemon and filled it with 151, then lit it on fire. Pyromania!

This can also be changed up -- instead of the hot chocolate mix, you can add vanilla and half-and half or your favorite flavored coffee creamer. Or brandy is a yummy choice if you prefer that over vodka or rum.

I had tickets to the titans game this year, God had other plans. Weather in Texas was beyond terrible! Sold my tix double what I paid and watched Peyton "prove his arm strength in the cold".

Weather in a lot of areas of the country was beyond terrible this winter. Glad you got your money back and then some. But yeah, check in on the Tailgate forum once the schedule comes out -- there's a lot of good info on who's going to which game and then PM's can be exchanged with cell numbers, etc. We've had to miss OM Weekend for several consecutive years but have high hopes of making this one.

Going from personal experience with OM Weekends -- you'll have the most awesome time partying with other OM'ers.
