Character concerns, not gellin' with Chip Kelly and nobody wanted to take on his fully guaranteed salary in a trade.

he's a gangbanger

but at the same time, if he's a gangbanger now, he was a gangbanger last year and the year before as well. it almost reads as an excuse. though I have no problem with a team ditching a guy like that if the gang stuff is true, even if it is a cover for something more mundane.

KC first team to reach out to DJ. Makes sense I hope they get him. Makes the AFCW more competitive

Someone on my board posted this from a radio show in Philly:

From WIP radio via Howard Eskin:

Robbery report from Jackson that someone stole 250,000 dollars and a gun from house, turns out it was 200 hundred dollars, trying to falsify theft to cash in from the insurance company

Jackson has 0 cash flow, he has blown through all the signing millions over the last 20 months, and was sniffing around a new contract to float a signing bonus

Andy Reid threatened to cut Jackson after pot arrest traffic stop, was talked out of doing it

Eskin reports on WIP the tip of the iceberg is small compared to what the Philly media and the Eagles security department has on DJax.

DeSean was admitted to UC Berkeley, that's a bigtime accomplishment. The list of alumni from UC Berkeley is long and accompished. And now here he is in a downward spiral.

I highly doubt he's a "gangbanger" but I do believe he's selfish. I can't dislike him for that though. In a business that used players for as long as the NFL has there are bound to be workers as such.

He's a very good player who's also in his prime. Would be an excellent addition to a contending team like the Chiefs or the Panthers.

No team simply cuts a pro-bowl WR in his prime w/o a reason.

Then again, look at Randy Moss in Oakland.

I would pass. He is so into his record label and hanging with thugs I'm not sure his mind right to be a good teammate.

Great player though and it will suck when he ends up on a rival.

Moss was traded to Oakland and traded to New England.

high price tag and high risk. he will always be a punk.
if he goes to cali and gets closer to his gang member friends his career will end like hernandez.
maybe not murder but definatly jail.
he is a stooped punk thug who happens to run a 4.3
somewhere there is a bullet with his name on it and he is just the kind of arrogant fool that will figure out a way to put himself in front of it.

when the idiot fool dropped the ball before crossing the goal line I thought to myself, 'what a punk idiot'
since then he has done nothing but re-inforce that opinion.
its just a matter of time before his punk ass reality catches up with him

I believe McDaniels would've cut Marshall had a trade not happen. Jackson most def wouldve been traded if his contract looked more favorable.

Saw this Desean clip. Whatever he's saying every player and coach was disgusted by it. They all just roll their eyes, turn their heads, shake their heads.

If he goes to Oakland I am calling a drug/gun related arrest within 12 months of signing a contract.

I get that. I was just making a point that Randy Moss was a stud with the Vikings then his attitude is why he ended up in Oakland. Then he sucked there because he didn't give a **** before New England changed that...and then his attitude came back.

Prob a bad example since Moss wasn't cut but I couldn't think of any other high-profile WR who was given away. Especially when Oakland gifted him to New England.
