Interesting Bowlen, Martin may be my favorite pick in their draft. I don't have the same hard on for Gilbert that everyone does.

2) James Gayle and Ben Gardner were also high on our priority list for 3-4 rush linebackers, both are very athletic and very mold-able prospects.

3) Jordan Tripp has that "it" factor -- hope he ends up on the Broncos squad (but the 3rd round is a little rich, maybe the 4th instead).

The negatives:
1) I'm not feeling it with Marcus Martin, I had four other centers rated higher than him when you drafted him, including the guy I took in the 6th (Tyler Larsen). What did you see that I didn't?

2) Never be the first guy to draft a kicker. Ever.
Martin may not be the best center prospect right now, but with development we feel he will be the best center in this draft. Detroit is the perfect place for him as we have Riaola to show him how its done for a year. With Richburg and Swanson off the board, this was an easy selection for us.

His build, natural agility, 34 inch arms, mindset, and leadership are what sold us on him. His development and experience at C were his only real drawbacks.

Is Hodges going to start this year? Loved his game at PSU, and drafted him last year. I wasn't sure his value and MUG kept telling me to take him!

He is in a battle with Audie Cole....and audie cole is battling for MLB and WLB. I know telvin smith is "tiny" but damn...watching him on tape is ridiculous. He is basically a Williams Thomas clone (OLB from mid 90's eagles 6'3 219).

Hey, Hodges got you the most value points of all your selections. That was a good piece of draft advice.

Advice is like medicine. Just because we take it doesn't mean we like it.

I have opened myself to ridicule by posting a first round mock. Anyone else have one?

We could fix him for sure.
My hopeful Nostradamus moment.

I find it amazingly awesome that the same dilemma the Broncos faced in our Mock Draft is what they faced in the real draft. Do they take a sliding Bradley Roby or take Xavier Su'a-Filo?

I'm not sure there is a wrong choice. I find it interesting the Broncos did not ding Bradley Roby's grade at all apparently with the off field concerns, and it seems clear they decided the drop in play this season was due to the scheme change at OSU.

MUG, JCMElway, BowlenBall, thanks for all of your efforts in this mock draft / free agency round, and the new scoring system. It makes one of my favorite events even more fun. Kinda like fantasy football for the draft. Now I'm rooting for my team of guys to get drafted. lol

I hope to have Atlanta again next year. I've never had the same team twice in a row, but I like the franchise idea popular here.

Jawuan James, and my very own Marcus Smith got picked in the 1st... Cant wait to see how this all ends up.

Hageman dropped out of the 1st, but it looked very likely toward the end there before yesterday. Looking forward to today and the weekend.

Go Broncos!

True Story: If you combine all 7 rounds into one day, 32 teams were able to draft 256 players in the time BMORE completed one selection.

Damn... my 3rd rounder (Jackson Jeffcoat) bombed all the way out of the draft. I'm definitely going to be among the big losers in MUG's draft scoring, along with whoever drafted Tiny Richardson.....

Oh well, when he becomes a pro bowler next year, you'll all realize what a draft genius I am....

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- A minor heart abnormality caused Alabama linebacker Adrian Hubbard to go from a projected second-round pick to unselected in this year's NFL Draft, Hubbard told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel on Sunday.
