Default ESPN... can't be serious with this line... can they?

That is the most ridiculous statement. It's on the front page of their NFL tab.
WTF.

I kind of agree with that in the sense New England haa the coaches that know how to scheme and aren't afraid to try wrinkles. They also are willing to say anyone can beat us but not this player this week.

They are not the only offense that gameplans to go after opponents flaws. Every single NFL team does this.

Unfortunately - ESPN's claim was more detailed than that.

belicock has been running the pats like this for years. The only constant in the offense is Tom Brady.

Best coached team in the league, IMO.

I hate to say it, but I think they're taking a trip to the Super Bowl this year, unless Gronkowski or Brady get really banged up. With all the attention to Manning and our offense last season, I think lost in that was once of the best QB performances in Tom Brady- he got that team to the AFCCG with nobody on that team around him, and I want to say Gronkowski was out most of the season.

If anything a game in Foxboro might be a final say on the Manning/ Brady discussion, and we go in this season with a better defense, pass rush, etc. I think Fox will be get out coached, and Belichick will make adjustments that change the complexity of the game leaving Fox doing the Clapper and us fans rolling out eyes.

I hope I'm wrong, but the game earlier this year doesn't feel encouraging. That being said, I wonder if the switch to a heavy dose of running might be the change that Fox make look unstupid. I hope so.

I think last year was our shot. Coaches blew it. This year NE and GB (yeah I said it.) and BMore and CAttle are peaking while we're unsettled and waffling.

I think we had a better shot the year prior. We **** the bed against BAL who went on to win the whole thing. SEA wasn't as tough and SF was certainly beatable as BAL showed. We were more healthy then as well.

typical espn...

so are they saying offences like GB don't change their gameplan to exploit opponents?

nevermind, it's not even worth arguing over espn. they are ne honks to the core and cannot see outside of those Bristol-colored glasses.

Football sprang into existence in 2001 with the Patriots superbowl win.

Obvi.

Agree that was our year. Don't forget how bad we got screwed by the refs (Vinovich) though. 7-8 huge poor calls go against us. Just one goes our way and we win.

Now whether we would have beat New England the following week or not I have no idea.

I hate everything Pats related

I do think they are one of the best at in game adjustments in NFL though. I'm dying to what happens with no McD and Brady in the future.

We have no shot. I mean 11-3 with an absolutely brutal schedule. Oh ya and fresh off beating that Chargers team that handled Baltimore two weeks ago. On the road.

But ya... Those teams are clearly better.

O'Brien did well there and at PSU, but name the last coordinator for NE who sucked while he was at NE. Offensive or defensive...the o won't miss a beat if and when McD, Matt Patricia or anyone other than Belichick, Brady, Gronk or the videographer leave

I thought McDufus' butt bud the videographer was barred by the league after his stint here in Denver.
