Oh, so we'll get these picks maybe next year. That sucks because this years draft is so deep. I don't know about how next years draft will look, hopefully we'll find some gems.

He's another in the box safety. I assume it's Rahim's job to lose.

Duke is Ward's back up and he should learn a lot from him. Him as a super sub is awesome.

He is so overrated. There is a reason he didn't get much interest or money.

Well, to be fair, no RB's are getting paid this offseason. But I agree that he's nothing special.

Last season I didn't care who was running the ball vs. Denver, it was the only phase of defense that was good. All the Blount talk leading upto the AFC Championship was too funny.

With Justice, I see seven OT's listed on the roster. Still short on OG's, as listed anyway. http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster.html

Only three, so I guess they'll try to work at least one of the OT's in at guard.

And you guys are slacking, don't guys like John Boyett, Hall Davis, Mike Farrell, L.J. Fort, Eric Hagg, Ramon Harewood, Jameson Konz, Charles Mitchell, Cameron Morrah, Jerome Murphy, Jordan Norwood, Nathan Palmer, Jerodis Williams, Greg Wilson, Jamar Chaney, and Paul Cornick count as FA's acquired?

These guys have been busy. I count 70 total names listed, so it looks like a 31% roster turnover already.

Most people do not consider guys from the practice squad nor guys signed from other teams to future contracts as much of a factor.
That hype comes later. IE Wesley Duke.

How many of those guys will make the 53 man roster? Probably none. That list is camp fodder!

On a team that has a great track record for developing UFAs? Id say a few. Boyett for example.

The final roster factor is important, but the main factor I was looking at is there are at least 22 new names on the official roster, compared to 2013 at this time of year.

Curious as to what that means to you or what kind of conclusions you are trying to draw, since it is totally out of context from whet this team has done in years past or any other team does in the NFL.

Well, I spent some time reading up on each guy. There's actually some pretty darn good talent there. Some of the group have started in the NFL. They're all young and talented. Hagg actually played FS in Cleveland along side Ward.

Yeah, not a huge deal really especially this time of year with 70 players listed. Just thought I'd mention the new names. Look at it as me fulfilling a public service, and you're welcome.

http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcwest/post...ks-in-turnover

This 2010 article listed the League average one-year opening day roster turnover as 20.6% (for the 53-man roster). The high end was Seattle at 34% roster turnover, the low end the Vikings at 5.6%. Probably a typical graph year to year, just the order of teams will change.

No telling what percentage Denver ends up with the 53, probably 18-20%.

I know, a lot of change and all of it needed.
I do wonder how much of it factors into Elway's comments before about getting the locker room right.
No doubt talent is important as well as replacing other departed players.
