I'm not. I like Rahim so my concern is getting a young back up.
Now if J Ward falls in our laps or if even Ha-Ha did I wouldn't complain.

I don't like the idea of him in New England. Really hope he signs just about anywhere else.

Moreno makes more sense to Denver or NE than anyone else just due to his skills set. He will probably end up in NE and play the Faulk/Woodhead role. Vereen was probably supposed to fill that role, but I don't think NE came away thinking he's the guy to do it after last year. He dropped a handful of those wide open wheel routes after the wrist injury.

He is a downgrade from Blount except in pass pro. He can still catch dumpoffs but as a pure RB he is on the decline.

I hope Blount moves on, he is much more explosive a runner and can take over games and they win games he takes over.

I disagree. Blount is slow as ****. He benefited from great blocking.

How did he do against us?

We have a top 5 run D.

Blount has a longer career long than KM and I remember watching him take one to the house from at least 60 yards out late in the season if not during the playoffs vs Indy.

Is he "on the decline" because he might go to the patriots? Lol.

I agree. Everyone seems to think Denver must upgrade all these positions when in reality they have more quality starters then most teams and can't upgrade every position

If Moore comes back from Switzerland where he's rehabbing his fluke injury he'll continue to improve and I have no issue with the FS postion.

Carter is a wildcard

None of the things you listed are even close to valid responses.

A longer career long?

People can talk about "Denver FA this", and "NE FA that", MLB this, CB that, but it occurs to me Denver won't win with a no-balls, predictable HC. Then we have Panic Monkey Manning, also.

The two main leaders of the team can't lead when the going gets tough, so good luck with that.

I'd be surprised if he signed for the Pats but then again if we aren't offering him a deal, why not go to another contender. Man needs to work and get paid for it.

Moreno to NE scares me about as much as Lloyd to NE did.
With that said, I would like to see Moreno return but it is all but sealed that he won't return considering the money spent in FA and Elway basically saying he was unhappy with the running game.

I would think that he would sign with the Jets or someone where he would get money and be the definite starter.

I'd hate to see him in New England but it makes the most sense for him. If Elway & Co has moved on would you rather play for A. New York Jets B. New England C. Miami. The difference in contract value obviously isn't a huge issue, or else I'd figure he'd have signed somewhere already.

Why would they want Moreno, Vereen is a much better player receiving out of the backfield. This is a team that has been cheap with their own players and in free agency minus the Revis deal. They can platoon running downs with Ridley, Bolden, another back from the draft.

Ridley gets 0 confidence from Belichick because of his fumbling issues. Vereen is injury prone and strictly a 3rd down back. Bolden is a backup, he is not good enough at pass protection to play full time.

Moreno would fit what they do well, especially if he will take a 1 year deal for little money. The Pats need to beef up several positions in the draft, so it seems unlikely they can devote a high draft pick to RB.

Why would Moreno take less money to go there? We know New England would low ball him. And Vereen can play any down. Moreno has missed time with an injury too. And why do they need to use a high draft pick on a RB?

i disagree. Moreno has better hands while Vereen is faster and better in the open field. seemed like Vereen had a number of drops, specifically on the wheel route after the wrist injury. Vereen is the more exciting player, but Moreno reminds me a lot of Kevin Faulk in that o. Does pretty much all the little things right in the passing game, but not at all flashy.
