Things have, apparently, changed...

Reports surfaced last week the Saints planned to release Sproles if they were unable to find a trade partner. But, with all the interest, the team has held on to him and now would like to capitalize on that interest, according to the source.

Well, Elway has done his best for the D.

Now, what about the OL? Doesn't that have to be dressed up a little bit

What's left for FA OG's:

Travelle Wharton
Willie Colon
Jeff Ohrnberger
Davin Joseph
Uche Nwaneri
Daryn Colledge
Richie Incognito
Charlie Johnson

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/transactions/free-agents/g

On a side note, I see the Chiefs have lost most of their OL from last year to FA. Albert, Schwartz, Asamoah.

Elway has beefed up the D, brought in a top corner, a top safety, and a top pass rusher. All that's left is to get a legit MLB. Great job JE.

I do think these high profile signings could lead to getting some FAs taking less for a chance to play for Denver.

Clearly loaded, it's up to the players now to bring it all together every Sunday.

EVERY Sunday...

Just saying, looking at http://www.denverbroncos.com/team/roster.html

it shows a pretty thin lineup at OG.

I think Ryan Miller can fill the role at guard for us.

Clark or Franklin will replace Beadles. Depth is sketchy but I know they had high hopes on at least one young OL who's name I already forgot. I think it started with a P.

Miller is a local kid- Columbine HS then CU - drafted by Cleveland but had an head
injury in practice after starting the first 7 or 8 games. Missed last year - We signed him
late December

We could put his locker next to Talib, they would be a nice fit.

That's it. I'm naming my first born "John Elway"

Even if it's a girl.
