That Lexus GS300 got noticed all the time, lad. That was a pretty badass sedan. What I liked was it was a straight-six. I do love me the straight-six motors. Had several Mercedes with them . . . . .

^^^ I was cruising along on the Boulder Turnpike in a '65 Mercedes 220S and right at the I-25 interchange some dude in a Cobra went flying by me. Dude must have been doing 120, a piece of gravel from his rear wheel came in my driver window and hit me right under the eye.

It is on my bucket list to build a replica. My auto expertise ends at changing oil. I Figure that would be a good way to learn more about cars.

Here's one of my faves of all time:

1966 Pontiac G.T.O. - IMO, if it doesn't have the stacked headlamps, it's not worth it

Cars that keep the same body style for several years are usually a good factor in determining how nice they are. Tahoes changed their styles for years then in 2007 hit the bullseye. Stayed mostly the same until 2014.

I won't say this is the prettiest car in the world, but I have a soft spot for it since I drove a 5-speed one in my younger years. And as a Chevy Cavalier ("Z" series ) I always thought it looked much nicer than its pay grade.

GM kicked ass with their styling in the 50's, 60's, 70's. Hell, the Impala was sweet looking. The Nomad.

This here VW was a nice looking vehicle, if you like functionality over form . . . .
