I bought a new, vintage style Broncos tshirt with the old logo helmet, old school blue, and old school Broncos styled letters... Wore that for the SB game. Yep, they got pounded in the ass like in the other SB's with that helmet. Oy!

Maybe we should have stayed with the Blue Uni's instead of moving back to Orange!

I didn't wash my Manning jersey all season. And it's weird because it didn't work.

This is great. I was going to make a superstition thread on why we lost. I will use this one instead.

My best friend in Vegas has got much bigger in recent years. I brought my Elway jersey (circa 1994) for him to wear while I wear my special #73 Simon Fletcher jersey that I wear during games and now for this special occasion. Fatso wouldn't fit in the size 44 Elway jersey so he told me to give him the size 48 Fletcher jersey. I warned him if he wears it and we lose, it is all on him.

In reality, it is on me for giving in knowing he would be hurting the Broncos chances.

I'm so totally busted. I went to two broncos superbowls and we won both of them. I knew back then I'd forever be obligated to attend all future broncos superbowls to insure more wins. Welllllll ...i wasn't able to go to this one. I felt horrible about it but somehow managed to convince myself that it was only a dumb superstition. How wrong i was. I am so incredibly sorry and beg forgiveness from the entire. Broncos nation. All i can do is never repeat my egregious error. They say confession is good for the soul but i still feel like ****

I went to both also but I had to ask myself "San Diego only 70 minutes away and Miami where the sun is almost guaranteed? Yes, I am going. Now fast forward 15 years and I get a choice of NY and its overpriced region with a threat of really ****ty weather? I think I will pass on this one.

Maybe that was my other issue. We can't blame the team, we blame our superstitions.

I watched 32 and 33 in Boulder. 21, 22, 24 and 48 were all viewed in Metro Denver. I guess I'm now obligated to crash some random Boulderites Super Bowl party next go around.

Unless you were part of the Broncos organization, you did nothing wrong.

The only thing fans did wrong was make the Seahawks feel like underdogs. The oddsmakers pinned the Seahawks as the favorites based on statistical play, then all the casual fans jumped all over the Broncos. It was the most money ever lost on one team in the Super Bowl. The Seahawks would have remained favorites with the regular season betting crowd. The Seahawks must have felt disrespected by the world. I know most on this board didn't have a lot of respect for them before the game.

I inadvertantly wore a Seahawks colors tie on Friday before the game. I wore pants that only that tie really goes with... somebody pointed it out, I was ashamed, took it off and obvisouly jinxed John Fox into horrible coaching.

I also wore a New Broncos T and my fitted Big D instead of my Broncos Snow cap- i ****ed the team real good, no grease, and I want to apolgize to all of you for bing such a retard.

That being said, 15-4 is still not too shabby.

Sorry guys.

I don't think it's any of our faults.

I blame Joe Namath with the bad mojo before the game began.

This woman i know needed a ride to buy a car in the morning. I went out of my way for her even though I didn't want to. Half way there we start to fight a bit and she says I don't even care about the stupid Broncos or the Superbowl. I got a sinking feeling right there I had jinxed us.

Sorry guys I should have been a pimp and told her I don't give rides on Superbowl Sunday.

I had the chance to change my jersey from an 80's Elway to a Mike Anderson away jersey at the end of the 1st and stayed the course. Mea culpa.

Wife washed my Champ and my sons Manning jersey before the game. She feels horrible. We are trying to work through this but I just don't know. Maybe counseling might help. Or prayer. I just don't know.........
