MUG, I am willing to go with team dispersion of this style, but I do need everyone to get their team lists into me first.

It's a good thing MUG doesn't study the amount of tape necessary to be a dynamite drafter! Rather he uses all his logic on well detailed a d thought out team preference posts!

Understood. Hopefully none of these last few guys throws a wrench in the assumptions.

Just make sure you bring your "A++" game this year. You're throwing down the gauntlet with all this friendly smack, if I grade out higher than you, you're going to hear about it for an entire year!

And I am still going to snag all your sleepers

Bmore,

I need your list of teams you would like to draft for, sir.

When you get assigned a team you can talk all the smack you want!

I don't know Conklin....methinks you're a ringer at this game. I'd have to give that some serious thought! What do you propose?

With Bmore, all I have to do is kidnap his dart throwing monkey and he'll be completely lost!

There's no randomness in my game.

I know you're a good drafter. I know you're smart. I know you're a worthy opponent. And I genuinely like debating the draft with you. You don't need to defend your good name to me. Everyone else maybe, but not me.

With all that being said, I'm ****ing trying to talk some smack here damn it!

And we all know if Mediator chooses not to call out the studs on the forums, you'll never think to draft them! I'm predicting you finish with a final grade below Shananahan!

!

As my dear friend Rev pointed out, my draft picks last year didn't necessarily set the world on fire. However I stand by my evaluations of many of the players that I drafted, and time will tell how good or bad the draft really was.

I couldn't sleep, and I'm up watching film, you better bring your A++++++ game!

You probably would have won the entire thing if I didn't talk you out of several top 50ish picks and into UDFA talent! All part of the master plan I didn't even know I had.

Oh, which reminds me, make sure you run all your selections by me this year before you make them. I'll give you some A++++++ recommendations (again)!

You did talk me out of several HUGE selections, that would have scored me higher, but maybe you end up being right and they don't pan out.

if this is any indication as to how they are going to participate, I sincerely hope they don't end up with teams that have a bunch of picks.

Eh, I know most of the guys on the list and they get their picks in on time. Probably just because our start date is still a ways a way.

BTW everybody, if you suck it up this year and take Indy or Washington, I will GUARANTEE that you get your first or second selection next year. Please PM me if this is interesting to you!

**edit -- We will give the Indy drafter the first selection next year (Due to reduced picks) and the Washington drafter the second overall choice.

weird suggestion that may not be worth its time, but what if we were to agree on a scoring system like what MUG posted last year and had a draft for teams the following year based on how well you did the year before. Rewards those for hard work and could encourage greater FA round(s) if free agency is factored into the scoring.

How is that going to work in relation to people that have ran the same team a few years running and are good drafters? Same as this year with the bolded teams?

I REALLY expect Mediator will be happy with Indy. He did want to try and get the Broncos, but Lestat has him there due to his sign up. Med has said he's pretty busy this year, so I can't fathom a scenario he doesn't just stick with Indy once he knows he can't get the Broncos. That's annually *his* team and with reduced picks, it's perfect for his time constraints.

I vote we just give Washington to Shananahan since he's the only guy changing his selections. He wants the Saints as his second favorite team one day, I give them to him, and now he hates them. Plus, he had Washington last year. My approach to people being difficult for no reason is to give them the ****tiest team. They can like it or drop out.

The primary rule would be people with repeat teams. After those teams are off the board then the former indy/Washington people can choose.

And there isn't a rule that says people can't change their priority list.

you are going to hate me, but depending on how you decide to assign teams, I'm likely to change mine. if it is going to be completely random, I'll throw all my choices to teams with a bunch of picks. I intentionally didn't do this originally so that I wouldn't be grouped with a bunch of other players and make things difficult if you were trying to go with a logical rather than random approach.

Note: logical is used in the literal definition as in 'of or relating to the formal processes used in thinking and reasoning'

and not logical as in the smarter way of doing things.

I've done Washington before. I'll take them again. It keeps with my always drafting NFC East and I get a shot at my preferred team next season.
