how come nobody is talking about the guy hitting the panic button

can't wait for the press conference tomorrow where he says nothing of substance

guy is a tool, has no balls, and his team shows it

they don't play hard for him

He seems to be a step behind all the time but that was a tough deal on the challenge because Fox (the network) couldn't be bothered to show a replay and Seattle was rushing the next play. If it would have been reversed it would have been huge.

They should've called timeout just to look at it before actually challenging it for real.

Seattle obviously thought it was close the way they hurried to the line.

I think if they would've had more time to check it out, they would've seen it was a forward pass.

Ultimately it didn't matter whether the red flag was thrown or a timeout was called because neither coach threw another challenge flag the rest of the game. So it's not like an extra challenge would have mattered.

He only shows up after losses. You can feel his glee every time they lose.

He's obviously a raiderfan posing as a Bronco fan.

Exactly, they are rushing to get the play off before Denver can challenge. Let them make the quick play and not give them time to come up with a better play. I don't know why we would have the wrong package on the field. It was a 2nd and long before and was going to a 3rd and long. Should have had the right package out there before.

It was a bad challenge from a challenge perspective but I didn't mind it because it slowed things down. It felt like a basketball timeout. Like we needed to do anything to stem the bleeding.

The score was only 8-0 at the point I think. That was a poor challenge... I don't even think Fox consults with anyone before his challenges.

Look at his posting record. He posts a ****load of negative stuff after losses. He loves to tell us everything what is wrong with the team, Manning, etc. He wasn't around for over a month.....when we won every single game.

He is a fraud and has been one for years.

Sure, in hindsight, you can say this, but at the time, you don't know how the rest of the game will play out. What a terrible mindset to have, to forgive the poor coaching because using hindsight to defend a poor coaching decision.

Yes, it is extremely poor coaching strategy to use a challenge to slow things down. You want to slow things down, call a ****ing time out. Then you get the added benefit of seeing a network replay to see if it was indeed a lateral.

During live action, I thought it was damn close to a lateral. I wanted to see it again. Seattle must have been worried it was a lateral themselves, hence hurrying up the next play. But replay conclusively showed that it was forward. No need to waste a challenge in the 1st half, when timeouts are of less importance than they are in the 2nd half.

The call wasn't as bad as we have seen before. I am more worried about John Fox's challenge record though going forward. Does he ever win them?

I am not watching his presser, I am afraid I will break my hand punching the TV. I can't take 30 minutes of BS cliches and generalities....

I heard Manning said in a postgame interview that he thought people were crazy for calling the Broncos Super Bowl performace embarassing. I have been unable to find that footage not corroborate that, but my god talk about detached if he did.

I thought it was a lateral when it happened live. Really, of all the coaching blunders, that was not one of them.

FWIW, I thought the 4th down catch to Ball late in the game should have been challenged that was ruled incomplete, but they stopped showing it. Actually pretty lousy game coverage as well.

Not like this is new.

The field of infinite monkey theory science has been single-handedly advanced generations by simply studying John Fox's challenge calls since joining the Broncos 3 years ago.
