Also, he can block.

I'd like to see Decker back and Moreno gone. Add a vet running back to the young stable of RBs currently on the roster.

High power offense is retained.

Yeah, the Kid Hollywood stuff is what has me worried the most.

Some teams like that kinda crap on their roster. Like the Fade (at least under the cryptkeeper) or Jerry's Kids. Can't imagine he could stomach the Fade. Or Oakland.

And I'm not sure the Boys have the cap space, but I could see someone like Jerry wanting to make a run.

They need to go cheaper tha what Decker will want. I'd take a look at Andre Roberts, James Jones, Emmanuel Sanders, etc. I think there will be plenty of guys that can take his role if they get here soon enough.

James Jones could be a good fit if he hits the market but he will probably get overpaid (relatively speaking) as well.

I'd be shocked if indy doesn't make a run at him. Wayne on the other side to take the #1 corner away. He'd do well there.

Well Indy has T.Y. so Decker would be more the Wayne replacement. Coming off an ACL and all. If i was Decker, this is where i want to go.

Minnesota also, since he's a hometown hero there.

but they're a mess at qb and wr. I'd steer clear unless the $ was too good to pass up.

How old is Grandpappy Wayne now though? And coming off an ACL. Indy needs to be looking for a new #1 at this point, which I doubt anyone believes Decker is.

From a career standpoint (assuming he's more worried about his long-term football career than his soft-core preggofetish celebrity Pr0n career) the Saints probably make a lot of sense.

I don't see much reason to let Decker walk unless he gets crazy offers, which i don't think he will.

No way people see Decker as a number 1 WR. Number 2 WR just don't get that big of contracts IMO. He will get what maybe 4-5 mil a yr max? I don't think we should give him even that though. Broncos should look for players who can take a 5 yrd pass and go the distance. Manning needs YAC type WR.

I think Decker would be a great number 2 WR/vet to keep around, but if he gets big offers I think he's gone for sure. Elway doesn't see him as a huge playmaker IMO.

Also though i don't think Broncos should stand pat at WR. It's time to maybe look for a young one in the draft that could be starting by 2015. Maybe that WR already on the roster I don't know.

pretty much zero chance they'll have the cap room after they deal with jimmy graham.

cut there's almost no chance Decker comes back. There will probably be at least a half dozen teams that will be willing and able to pay him more than the Broncos.

I think Manning could make it happen. If he thinks it's important enough.

Possibly. But the Broncos have a few big needs to fill (most notably S, CB, LB), and have other guys who have to get paid at some point (including another WR in DT). Can't afford everybody unfortunately, and the Broncos are already posturing that they know they're going to lose him.

I hear what you're saying. I just think it's not all that likely for Manning to step in and say "I'll take a pay cut if you dumbasses will stop ignoring ILB"

But if it means keeping one of his better weapons on the field though, he'd obviously be both more comfortable and motivated to do what he needed to do.

If he doesn't, to me it means he's either not as sold on Deck as some of us, or he's just way more into the money at this point in his career than he should be.

After watching the seahags totally shut down the broncos big wrs, i think having a smaller, quicker wr capable of taking it the distance is in order. Deckers greatest asset is his size but its also his greatest weakness against big corners. I truly believe caldwell should be resigned for close to nothing and take deckers spot.

I thought caldwell will play bigger role than DT and decker in SB..he catches everything thrown at his side.

Well, DT certainly didn't get "shut down". And my hunch is that Decker had Sherman on him a lot and Manning mostly stayed away or didn't have time to target him.

Would anyone have a problem with a 5 yr, $30.77 million contract with 12 million guaranteed?

I don't recall Decker having that many drops. He disappeared for stretches at a time, but not sure that he had an abundance of dropped passes

they are letting himt test free agency to gauge the interest level, wouldn't be surprised by either result at the end of the day
